Struggled between choosing a Mid or a Soft for my Artisan FXZero, chose Mid as I play low sens in Apex, never regretted my choice since. Awesome video review!

Can it glide quick? Not shown on video with mouse.

Yes it can , the Hayate Kou is pretty balanced in speed but if you get it in Mid firmness it's even faster

Do you prefer it hard or soft?.................

i play only tac fps and i stay away from xsoft for the very reason you described. also weirdly enough i am hardly holding angles, i am usually the entry. i have max 1-3 bullets and when i flick i better rip his face off or be in a position for an easy trade. that's why i am experimenting with the mpc 450 from time to time, because the flick is faster. also up and down movements in valorant are very common. almost every duelist has movement skills that are supposed to break someone's tracking ability. i think some people misinterpret what you actually do in a tac fps. you are basically searching consistency in a very fast flick, and that is very hard to achieve. sometimes you have to readjust mid flick and that is the trickiest thing to pull off with any degree of success. so you are basically caught between a rock and a hard place, because a pad can only have one friction coefficient. a coffee cannot be hot and cold at the same time. it's either slow with lots of stopping power or fast with little to no stopping power. i think my next pad will be slightly(1/3rd)slower than the mpc 450, in the hopes i can manage my flicks a little bit better. and so the quest for the speed pad i can still control within my limited ability begins...🤣

@@glashausAimz2 ya definitely going to be different situations for folks. My buddy plays on a Raiden mid with a 46 cm for example but it works best for him. Generally people with higher sens play on Raiden. Also I'm aware of Jett and other characters that would require vertical tracking but the length of time you're doing that is far more reduced in frequency just off purely ttk. But appreciate the insight cause may have players like yourself drop by and have your play style.

@@UpgradeLemonade i have 216 edpi in valorant which would normally have 61cm/360, but i use a very slight motiviti curve recently to make it a little easier on myself for a 180. this is mostly for DM, because you usually don't get the luxury of turning around, if the other dude is any good. i think tac shooter is similar to a 1 wall 2-3 targets scenario with slight AD movement and about 160-300ms TTK. now that i think about it, i wonder why no one ever made that scenario in aim labs. at a certain level, you need to flick moving targets as well😅 i used to main a corepad glass mousepad in 2005 for a long time, then changed to the deskmat from corepad. so maybe my i can try the cerapad kin next, for a more controlled glas pad or something with a similar friction coefficient.

I rock the Zero. I have both the Mid and the XSoft. I normally have a very light grip and don't press down on the pads. I find that with my grip the glide is indistinguishable between them. But with the XSoft, I have the option of pressing down for extra control when I want it. To me that makes the XSoft more dynamic(and fun) and not just a one-trick-pony. When you 'learn' the ways of an XSoft there's no going back.

Kou is my opinion the most controlled pad in terms of speed and control I have ever tried
@UpgradeLemonade
@UpgradeLemonade Год назад
most controlled? interesting, it def leans that way, but stuff like the GSRE and Puretrak MF series are far more controlled

any rec for a control pad, lemonade?

@UpgradeLemonade Год назад
I really love my Xten Control but if the price point is too much I've heard the Zero is close to it. PureTrak MF2 or the CL1 are nice options too, cheaper + cool designs and you can use my code in the description to save a few more bucks 👌

@@UpgradeLemonade sorry i did not really say what kind of control pad, but i was talking about almost mudpad like stopping power like the Jupiter or the Gamesense Radar or something like those mouse pads
