I have a Hayate otsu xsoft and love it. I’ve been wanting to try a zero but unsure if it’ll be too slow for me. Also assuming you put no downward pressure on the mouse would the xsoft be faster than soft and mid? I play r6 with 33cm/360 hipfire
I would recommend the soft, it’s not actually that slow, it’s still a balanced pad. It’s like the definition of medium. The Otsu is a degree faster, not a speed pad, but the surface type is the main difference. The zero collects hairs like crazy but you’re less likely to stick to it if you get warm.
@@RestlessGeckoReviews really appreciate the insight! Everything I’ve found before this just said that the zero was slower and never said by how much, I’ll definitely give it a shot. And I wear a sleeve anyway so hopefully sticking won’t be much of an issue
It’ll be entirely usable for you and it’s not going to mess with your micro corrections by being boggy or muddy. It’s the best bang average mousepad for your money in terms of speed and control.
Is it just me or is the artisan zero thicker than the hayate otsu? I have both in soft and my zero seems to be quite a bit thicker might be just me tho idk 😅
