The adventure begins in Paris, where we had some interesting experiences right from the start. From struggling to find a taxi due to a language mix-up to enjoying American-style hot dogs with a French twist. We visited iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and explored the Louvre, encountering the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.
Despite a shoe mishap, we made the most of our time in Paris by visiting thrift shops. The next day, we embarked on a journey to Notre Dame and enjoyed coffee and dessert at a cozy cafe near Shakespeare and Company's bookstore. We also explored Le Marché de Enfant Rouge, a vibrant market popular among young Parisians.
Our adventures continued as we revisited Notre Dame, taking a walking tour and soaking in the history. We also marveled at the breathtaking beauty of Sainte-Chapelle, a church adorned with magnificent stained glass windows and impressive architecture. It's a sight that needs to be experienced firsthand.
To add a touch of history, we visited La Palette, a cafe with a rich artistic heritage, frequented by renowned artists like Picasso and Degas. Here, I indulged in steak tartare, a culinary delight.
