Artist Nicola Green for International Women's Day, at Zuleika Gallery 

Artist Nicola Green discusses the iconic image of the raised fist for International Women's Day 2021. Nicola discusses how the raised fist image was adopted in 1968 in the second wave of feminism. Nicola has undertaken extensive research on how this gesture has been used throughout history and around the world, and how these struggles in the fight for equality are intertwined and intersectional.
