CisforCock Fall out boy don't really meet up to what Andy can actually do as a drummer. When the drum sections get written, they get written based off of what else is planned for the song, not what the drummer is able to do.

I just love how different the drumming is between Andy and Patrick. Like, Patrick is this stylish, methodic, precise drumming, and if you think about it, it goes perfectly with his personality (control freak Patrick), but then we have Andy; cute wonderful Andy who's an awful lot into just doing what he believes in and we find a passionate, on the edge of violent and yet controled and careful drumming... and I think that's something pretty awesome; that the music someone gives life to in any instrument is always a reflection of them; it's always a representation of who they are.

Sydney Mysliwiec he...does go hard on the drums, but going hard on the drums isn't everything. I love Josh. He's a great boy, but if I had to do a list of my top 10 favourite drummers, I wouldn't include him. I feel like he lacks actual techinique (just my opinion, of course, not putting it as a matter of fact). But ,thanks a lot for your input!

i had the opportunity to witness this drum duet/duel i Nashville 1 year ago and i was impressed. Andy has always been my favorite, i also met him after the show, in the airport. He was a true gentleman, I was calling him and he waited for me until i reached for him and accepted to take some photos with me ,, happiest day of my life.

Poor Andy hardly gets any credit :( usually it's all "Patrick! Pete!" what about Andy or Joe? Don't get me wrong they're all amazing people but Andy is so underrated

Andy is so amazingly talented and into what he does and he certainly doesn't get enough credit in Fall Out Boy. Watching him play is amazing because he just does it so mindlessly and he looks so determined and he's concentrating so hard! I love Andy!

I love Andy Hurley and all of FOB so much! Andy is an amazing drummer, and as a drummer myself he's such an inspiration. He is such a sweetheart and doesn't talk much, so he doesn't always get the credit he deserves, but I'm so glad that most of the fandom appreciates him for the amazing talent and person he is :)

Andy is so inspirational for many reason, but just his origin story i what gives me hope. Most drummers I see are like "Yeah, my mom was a jazz singer and my dad was a slightly successful musician, so I was playing since I was born and they opened up all these doors for me." But Andy is just like a lot of us. He started playing later than most other famous drummers, he came from a not very music friendly area, and he just played and it worked for him. That, to me says hope for a lot of young drummers more than anyone else (also I've lived with in 20 miles of Menomonee Falls my whole life, so that helps).
