I think it was just a random match, once you get to 2600+ it's extremely hard to get a game so Stork was probably queuing for ages and the matchmaking system just decided to randomly match him against someone.
never seen you or anyone look so starstruck as when you looked at his tag and elo. it was like lebron walked in the room but was also a train, and you were a deer. so proud of you my man, you're playing well.
Guys in the chat were popping off this match "Stork is gonna be sitting there screaming like "SEE YOU CAN'T FUCKING PREDICT THESE SHITTY A-RANK PLAYERS WHO THE HELL USES LOCKDOWN?!" " Chat really had me in stiches
When I saw this, I though “Tosis is gonna get SO wrecked...” and he did. 😂 HOWEVER, at least he fought a little, most players would die with the first push
Stork has been in pro scene since 2004, where Flash ''only'' since 2007. Stork is the best possible old school oponent Artosis could have EVER wanted, relative to his own age. A perfect match would be Artosis vs. Pusan though...
Me thinking tosis was reasonably satisfied with this match. He didn't lose his bunker (though that was scary to watch!), saved his first tank with a great SCV block, and just in general handled that early ranged goon pressure very well to my novice eyes, he can be proud of that I think. Too bad about the late armory because he did enter the command to make, but I guess he just didn't see that it wasn't making the few times afterwards when he went to his natural. You never expect to win a macro game against such a player, but it's nice to see his overall glee despite the loss and complete lack of complaint. Not to mention he lost 0 points because it wasn't a smurf. It's just nice to see Artosis with absolutely nothing to complain about for once. Perhaps to add on to the armory that didn't build, if he got the 4th CC building as he expected, and handled the tank position and siege as he was trying to take his 3rd better, it would of been even more interesting (though still a loss without doubt). I guess the high ground makes it tricky. Maybe if he sieged immediately as the tanks got on the high ground (there was a slight delay and Stork pounced as soon as the siege animation started and cleared a handful of tanks). Thoroughly enjoyed watching this game.
koreans are very fast to use control from SC. 'cuz they're enjoying this sc 1 and also watched the starcraft league from the past. that's why they're very interested for this game and how to control like this. Well fought Artosis! you did your best and i'm so proud of your control skills from sc1! impressive!
@@xaositectz get your shit straight man. Stork has been since 2004. He will always be considered 4th best player of all time - that is enough for Bonjawa. Players with less success are bonjawas.
@@Artas1984 only players have given this title who have multiple starleague wins, often consecutive, dominating the scene and reinventing matchups and metagame. First it was savior, then it was given to boxer, iloveoov, nada and flash. Stork was one of the "six dragons" of protoss and one of the greats of brood war but definitely not a bonjwa. not even Bisu or Jaedong were given this title, and both of those players were much more successful than Stork.
Not getting enough value from the mech army early. Build the 4th CC in the main, secure it with a couple tanks while taking map control so that terran isn't suddenly behind 5 bases to 3. Then the fight at 15:00 went really badly; scan just a moment late, EMP just a moment late, and it all falls apart. Stork in complete control with clutch shuttle play.
I saw Stork in the Miniature and saw 18 minutes video and thought. Bro, tell me it was a 17 minutes game, because If it was a 5 minutes game with 13 minutes of analysis I was going to be really disappointed.
Yeah I think Artosis's opening is perfect he just needs to more active on the map. Alot of people say this so I know it's not just me. If you look at programers like Light he is VERY active on the map and all over the place. He has the enemy on constant guard.
You handled the fights well imo, problem is going even with army trades vs toss is great for toss, since their bases go up unmolested. Ggwp, I wonder how it would have went if you tried to pull something a little more tricky to not let stork sit back comfortably
Secret to kiling toss is killing the economy. You need to harass and kill their probes, similar to how you go for drones and bases in tvz. Specifics are diffrent, but trading army is pretty bad for the terran unless you capitalize on it. Fill all you bases with spider mines and have less bases so its harder for them to counter while you squeeze em dry.
@@user-hj8oh9kh7v Not exactly, sometimes when you kill the army you just bowl over them and they die right away. But protoss can stick it out vs terran,, you have to make a conceited effort to kill probes and.bases with multitasking
Stork knows that you and Tasteless are the entry point to the western audience of BW. He played hard that game. Geeze did he ever get big that game! Good effort though! ^_^
@@Eric-dd8bk Yes... Stork is a god. I think you are misinterpreting my comment. I'm just saying Artosis has a large western audience and Stork feels the pressure to do well. People are so ignorant and judgmental.
The difference between a A rank in BW (or a GM in SC2) versus the pros is absolutely insane. And it’s not a random pro either it’s a fucking legend hahaha. Arty got to clutch a sick scv block in the beginning xD how many of us can say the same against a legend like this.
Are you living under a rock? He's not just a pretty good player. He won like few championships back in broodwar days man. He's right there along with Bisu, Flash, Jaedong, and Nada.
