And i re-watched the Beterbiev vs Gvozdyk fight this morning. Wonderful.

@@fightfan65 Beterbiev is 6 foot and Canelo is roughly 5'9/5'10. A two inch difference and they're both built the same. Canelo probably has the better chin and Beterbiev has more pop in his punches. Beterbiev has a better chance of beating The Ginger than Bivol.

Canelo is hardly 5’8 and was severely hurt against a small bum. Beterbiev has been eating bombs from real big monster punchers

That's Absolutely true. Nobody talks about his boxing skills. Beterbiev had shown what he can do as a boxer against Callum Smith. Jabs, move around, corner him. Finally breaks down. The whole "opponent" team fears for their boxer's long term injury. Marcus Browne tried to be brave and stayed but finally gave up to even stand up. In his last two fights, opponents manager, threw in the towel to save their boxers. Now something different. We do not know Beterbiev and Bivol plans are. Only when the fight starts or even till it goes half we never really know. What happens if Beterbiev does not press forward and goes on defensive? He also tries to steer away from taking the shots. So many unknowns. But there is no denying, if Beterbiev able to land he is going to break Bivol.

Bivol's too good at not getting hit though. Beterbiev might catch him no doubt but there's no comparison overall in sheer boxing ability. Bivol is significantly better at boxing. Beterbiev is just a slugger with a chin. 🥱

@@notfromhere6125 completely wrong. You don't beat Usyk in the amateurs without good boxing. Also you don't win world championships and have a 295-5 amateur record and 20-0(20) professional record without boxing ability. This is not Wilder we are talking about here.

@@francishuhghes5229 Bivol - is my pick. he is too much of a boxer and if he is smart he might be able to win most rounds - if it does the distance. But it's not a clear cut thing for me - BB is certainly a monster, and wears people down until he knocks them out. But if one guy who can beat him at this weight class - its Bivol.

I also like that Bivol is not arrogant like BB. For that reason I would love to see him stop BB. Although this is just a personal thing - nothing to do with Boxing,..

Nice fantasy you wrote there. Beterbiev has been knocking guys out on the backfoot, keep up. Bivol has yet to beat a single live champion and was severely hurt and got exposed by a guy who Beterbiev destroyed in 2 rounds. Beterbiev only got hurt once and he didn’t even get dropped that time. Only his gloves touched

It is really this simple, beterbiev has been on the canvas, bivol has not, bivol has been winning every fight by far, beterbiev has not, bivol is the least hit boxer in the world, beterbiev gets hit a lot, what you are referring to is a counter-punch, not defending on the back foot, it appears you have never boxed in your life, so I will break it down for you, yes beterbiev can counter-punch quite well, but once he has to used more of his footwork and fighting off the back foot, his guard is terrible and he has no where near the same footwork as he has going forward (which is very good). I understand you you love beterbiev, I am sure you are also from his religion, which is fine, I also love beterbiev as a fighter and a man, however, if you do not think bivol has power, you really don't understand where power comes from, he throws the most perfect punch in all of boxing (right now), where all the strength generates, beterbiev does short punches, however because of his brute strength and accuracy he is a huge power puncher, however bivol has a lot of power which is why no one has even been able to cut off the ring even in ONE single round of his. beterbiev can win, however as it stands bivol is just too superior everywhere regardless of power. But I also know that beterbiev could hurt him, but that can be said about anyone, but the reality is... bivols speed will be too much due to the fact everytime beterbiev lunges in with his power jabs and his faints he will have three already on the nose, then he will have to reset, this is what happens everytime, however, no one has the skillset of bivol in regards to speed, footwork defence, timing spacing, cardio and overall skill, therefore, this is where beterbievs game plan is going to struggle. This is why nearly every elite power puncher losers to the overall skilled boxer in history, but as I said, let's just wait and see, but we cannot say beterbiev has no skills and we cannot say bivol has no power, both are absurd and incorrect.
