Hahah I’m gunna expose all these people who were mocking Dubois calling him Forrest Gump thinking he was slow now they go into the woodworks and will trash AJ that’s fans for you
The whole world was watching 🌏. London, England 🏴, 2 brits going at it. What a legendary night, that is going to be remembered as. Dubois walked through AJ, like it was nothing.
I always said it. Dubois is a hell of a fighter now. He was literally incredible last night. I’m really pleased for him. No one gave him a chance. Just real boxing guys.
Good for British Boxing? It is not good for British boxing if only 96K turns ups once a year to watch top 3 British heavyweight clash while 20K turn people each weekend to watch Lincoln, Rotherham, MK dons and other mid tier level teams in football! When I see 10K Boxing fans turn up to watch mid level tier British boxing fighters is the day I will be happy as boxing fan. Why does it have to up AJ, Fury or Ddd for 96k to turn up? Football is more expensive and they still turn up every weekend! Nothing against football but being a mid level boxer is way harder than to be a league 1 player!
It was horrible. I couldn't understand why he had none of the basics. The fight could have been a little more competitive if he used the basics. It was actually embarrassing
From giving opinions on boxing on RU-vid to hosting the biggest selling British fight of all time. You are a testament to how life can change If you want it.
Proud to have been part of your journey bro as a viewer, from boxtalk to main man at a 98k sold out Wembley Stadium for a British Heavyweight blockbuster involving AJ who’s one of the best we’ve ever produced. God is good, well done Ade.
@dang6092 not fury, hes another overhyped fighter. Struggled with mma fighters and wallin. Best wins are an old klitscko and windmill wilder whos been exposed as a can crusher. DDD destroys luke fury
@@recodegamesstudio hahahaha, oh dear, the delusion of a but hurt AJ fan who's realised everything he believed in was a load of manufactured hype. Fury does exactly what Dubois did to Joshua at any point in their careers. Keep crying.
Great analysis. A LOT of people doubted Dubois, but the truth of the matter is - AJ cannot handle fighters who are ready to fight and come at him. Time for retirement for AJ.
It won’t happen unless he fights completely washed up fighters, who can he beat performing like that? Kabayel will smoke him. Bakole, Zhang and Parker beat him too.
Saw a glimpse of the old AJ in the 5th but Dubois didnt panic he just took him out . Amazing what confidence and belief can do for a fighter . Brilliant performance.
He was still not stepping in with his follow up shots after that big right standing off waiting for dubois/giving time for him. AJ got the upper hand for like 10secs the whole fight then got clattered.
It felt like watching Ali vs Holmes all over again... it was a passing of the torch moment. It will take a few month for the disbelief to wash over. Now we will appreciate thr new guard of boxing in thr heavyweight division. Adieu Wilder, AJ and Fury... quite a decade you've all given us. Thanks
@@mjbtowip4369Joshua brought back the attention towards heavyweight boxing. Wilder and Fury helped. Joshua was not responsible defensively or offensively. Regardless..AJ's going to be a future hall of famer.
You nailed it bro, usyk is going with them too because he's close to 40 now but if he doesn't stop the young and up coming lions will take him out because the Last time Dubois was close, very close to knocking him out
How is this like watching Holmes v Ali? Ali had nothing left,a blind man could see it. Joshua gave a false sense of security against the swede and Ungannue. While Dubois had two tough fights. They said AJ was back so how was it like Ali,Holmes? We had to turn off the TV when Ali fought Holmes because he was finished.
The referee was a joke in that fight he tried everything to help aj . he even gave aj a count when aj was upset down on his head instead of waving it off .
A few things Ade, 1) I truly do think AJ’s recent fights caused it. He started holding his feet and just moving his head (wasn’t getting punished vs Wallin/Ngannou) as opposed to the nice step back he had vs Usyk. Thought the same about Fury fighting Chisora/Ngannou going into the Usyk fight. Whereas, Dubois and Usyk are just fighting the best opposition they can in boxing. You need to be in that boxing zone from round one. 2) Idk how much the Dubois rematch would do tbh. Simply because he’s older now, and if what I read was correct it can only be on a Saudi card which makes a UK rematch less likely. Tough to rebuild when the majority of your fan base last saw you get sparked out. 3) People don’t credit Dubois for that right hand he took from AJ. You could hear it like a gunshot on the broadcast, yes it rocked him but what he did next was VERY smart imo. Threw a looping right hand…landed…then threw a right hand from the same starting location he did before…and AJ thought it was the looping again and just raised his left glove a little and moved his head a little to the right. But Dubois instead threw a short right hand right on the button. Very calculated from Dubois. People say AJ just got greedy and walked into the final shot, but Dubois set him up well considering he had just been hurt himself. 4) If AJ does come back without the Dubois rematch. Then my opinion is he HAS to take the tough road. Take the tougher matchups like Dubois did. Really prove to himself he can do it, and the camps will force the best out of him. I could see a Joyce fight making sense tbh. Or another Parker fight.
I think the difference between frank and eddie is this in my assessment. Eddie is the better promotor Frank is the better boxing promotor Eddie sells his fighters beyond their capabilities Frank builds his boxers a lot better
You’ll never see a worst performance from AJ imo. He was standing all night with his chin in the air, no guard. Dubois must have been thinking Christmas came early.
Ade, There needs to be a conversation about you pundits and AJ. I'm saying this from the perspective of a supporter of yours but it's such an incredibly bad look watching you, Bellew and Spencer Oliver commentary on AJ. Spencer and Bellew were literally crying tonight and that's not what people want to see. We get it, you love AJ but you are there to do a Job on the broadcast and that's give an unbiased assessment of what the viewers are watching. Spenser oliver in the talk sport studio is one of the most embarrassing displays I have ever seen. Bellew on DAzN was poor too. Both were visabily distressed by watching AJ get beaten and both looked unable to do their jobs professionally. You also looked visabily distressed in the post fight analysis. If the pundits and presenters can't be neutral on a fighter then they should excuse themselves from the broadcast all together for that fight. Daniel deserved more respect and we all know if it was AJ that stopped them then you would all be singing from the hills about a destructive performance. I hope you appreciate that I am saying this from a place of respect Ade. Keep up the strong work 👊🏿
Very good observation and very well said. I hope all pundits take this to heart as its been thesame for all superstars. Very good pundits end up being fan boys despite their better judgement. Great show overall
@@syedvaz6109based on 2 time world champ 1 time Olympic gold . Biggest stadium fighter on earth . Uk hall of famer. Hate him but how can he NOT serve as a chance to like Lennox and Ali , a chance to try. Fury has another why not Aj
AJ has fought opponents who didn't want to stand and bang, no pressure at all just box from the outside. Daniel came with the pressure, he came to hurt AJ. It looked like Mike Tyson in there.
Isn’t the rematch clause normally for the champion when they lose, that they get the first chance to redeem the lose. Not for a challenger? Also for the champion to walk out and get ring announced first is just damm disrespectful. AJ hype train is over.
Needed this video! Phenomenal job brother…genuinely inspiring how you convey and express your thoughts. I was in a daze last night..I felt more stunned than AJ watching that. Salute to DDD he was moving like iron Mike
Good breakdown . AJ needed to jump on DD . You can’t stand back with DD . DD had tremendous will to win . AJ thought he had it in the bag after Ngannou . Thinking he could blow DD away too . All credit to DD.
Unbelievable fight AJ looked a bit scared before the fight think the pressure got to him knowing everyone thought it be easy but he knew what happened in sparring ! Great event
Ade you’re totally wrong there are 3 potentially winnable fights for AJ to win before he sails off into the sunset 🌅 1.)Dillian Whyte rematch. 2.)Tyson Fury. and 3.)Deontay Wilder.
Ade, you dont get it. Dubois beat AJ worse in 5 rounds worse than Usyk beat him up in 24 rounds. The issue with AJ is that he drop his left hand when he shoots his right hand. He need to bring the left hand back. Dubois had a flow that he has not fixed too. His holds his guard to low and I thought AJ would work on double or trippling his jab. I predicted on your videos that Dubois would stop AJ because he is a young man who is peaking and in the nexf 2-4 years is going to hurt many fighters. Whoever he fights at 30 will get the worst thrashing!!!!
No he didn’t. He did seem emotional interviewing AJ. It you have to recognise, Ade became big around AJ fights and his old leather green chair. There’s going to be some emotion.
Can’t believe AJ had his hands low rather than guarding himself knowing the type of fighter ddd is. They should have told him to keep his hands up, chin down and move in and out with his feet, which is usually what AJ is good at. It’s like Ben told him to drop his hands to make ddd come for him to counter him, the biggest mistake was to do that and to make AJ start early. We all know ddd would come out on fire and come to kill. I hope he corrects the wrongs and wins the rematch. He can’t retire on that note. He has to win
Dubois’ jab won him that fight along with his heart. His jab was absolutely on fire. Razor Sharp and powerful and AJ had no answer for it and everything just came off of that. Don’t get me wrong I was absolutely gutted for AJ man, Wasn’t nice seeing him get beat up like that. But that’s boxing. He was made to look like an old man in there. I hope he takes the rematch, might aswell got nothing lose now. But Dubois, what a performance!!! 🥊👏🏽
Nothing to lose apart from his mental faculties you mean? He has nothing to build on, he got beat in every department. Tell me one good thing he done that will win him the next fight?
@@andrewtowell6074 It’s heavyweight boxing. He will deffo be the big under dog in the rematch. And the same thing may just happen again. But either that or retire. So why not just one last roll of the dice.
As the saying goes, 'every dog has its day ' this might indeed be Dubois' time. Champions are often used to being seen on top for long and so it's hard to imagine them being dethroned. This might as well be the dethroning of that long reigning champion.
I was there in Wembley and the Saudis put on one hell of show. I initially thought my £120 ticket for a top tier seat where you could hardly see the ring was bad value for money, but the atmosphere in the stadium was incredible and felt like a giant club, than a boxing match, you had the complimentary wristbands that would light up different colours according to the fighter that made the stadium look amazing and we got a half Oasis concert as well for free, when tickets are going for 2 grand. Although Liam didn't play his biggest hits, which was disappointing. Whatever you think of AJ's boxing skill, it is bad for boxing that he lost. One thing I noticed in the stadium that there was so many groups of women at the fight, far more than normal. I'm not talking women dragged along by their boyfriends, I'm talking women only groups. He is kind of the heartthrob of world boxing and women will go to see him who aren't really big boxing fans. He certainly has an appeal other fights don't have. The Saudis definitely didn't want AJ to lose, from the stadium lights and wristbands staying the colours of AJ, to the Anthony Joshua crowd chants coming from the PA system and not the crowd. But boy when AJ lost, the stadium became half full immediately because people were there to see AJ win, but the crowd were happy for Dubois because he put in a great performance. Maybe the Saudis need to due sponsored events in the UK rather Saudi Arabia because the atmosphere in Saudi fights is so dead.
I think what worked in Dubois advantage is his coach, Don Charles, who I beleive knows AJ well from the amatuer days and as they are both from that Finchley boxing club.
Indeed, that event should be applauded. The build up, the pre fight events and venues were fantastic. Well done to all. Let's face it Turki runs everything, but I hope he's seen UK is an amazing boxing venue and we can do more here. Dubois was just programmed for the kill. I think Dubois aloofness is his strength. The guy's not a thinker (not being critical) and in everyday life that probably hampers you, but with Dubois his lack of thought means he doesn't have those insecurities when it's just down to the fight. I heard Richie Woodall who trained both for GB said Dubois has the hardest jab he felt, whereas AJ has the hardest right. Dubois looked to be physically the more stronger in the clinch and that jab wasn't just penetrating it was hurting AJs head. Agree, Dubois was the acide test because although that's a guy who has been conclusively beaten no one has ever mauled him. Lets see any of the boxing fighting community call him a quitter now to his face 😎
Credit to Dubois, he ripped the mantle off of AJ. But AJ looked much worse from the start than I expected. I assumed Dubois would need to get him early, but didn't expect it to be in such dominant fashion. End of the old guard, bring on the next generation.
When Triple D's ankle went 5 fights ago & he then took that prolonged shellacking-then turned into a monster & went ballistic told me all I needed to know no lie
Has anyone had a run of fights like Dubois? history shows us now everyone loses to Uysk. But since August last year Dubois has taken on Uysk, Miller, Hrgovic and then AJ and he's been a problem for Uysk and destroyed the others. Mental talent
@@badgasaurus4211 I reckon that is why for me, Dubois Vs Parker should be next for both - they've both kinda dealt with the rest of the division between them lately so seems natural they fight next. Although saying that, weirdly, I'd be really interested in seeing Dubois against Zhang.
Hamazh Sheeraz BTW - he looks an incredible talent, his punches just look so clean and efficient, technically he looks like video game character because of how easy and controlled he makes it look. Expect him to really take over the scene
Joshua was the A side through his career because he looks like an Adonis, even Dubois had to walk in first even being the champion , I don't think Joshua is finished I think it's more like he was overrated and managed perfectly by Eddie Hearn .
We don't wanna see a rematch. Parker vs. Dubois NEXT. Aj needs to start from down ladder, not fair other fighters just cause he brings in the money, he should fight top 10. That's what happens when they push him fast, when he only fought nobody's
Long videos are definitely the vibe, Ade! Please don’t get it twisted! Rather long and thorough, than prematurely short! It just makes for a more enjoyable content consuming experience - for me, anyway. Think of it like a short film versus a long feature-length film.
This is AJ’s 4th loss! He’s not as good as the people in Europe thought he was. He was perfectly matched his whole career from Eddie because Eddie loves AJ and they had a cherry pick go wrong with Andy Ruiz. After that AJ was never going to be the same, Why? Because he got knocked out by a short fat kid and up to that point AJ never thought he could be hurt by a guy like that. Never mind the ego kill and confidence murder after being KO by Ruiz in front of the world while everyone on earth thought you was going to brutally destroy Andy! He felt like a looser in boxing and lost his confidence while never wanting to be hit like that again. Anyone who was making a prediction in this fight and who wasn’t bias knew AJ was going to loose because this was the biggest puncher he’s been in with in years and AJ hates to be hurt because his chin is not great. AJ’s recovery from big shoots is bad and in all honestly I think k AJ knew if he didn’t KO DDD in first few rounds he was going to get KO himself.
Thank you........thank you, Ade. You're the first and only person to big up Daniel Dubois for winning first, unlike others who instead talk about why AJ lost. Respect. Let's acknowledge Daniel big win first.
Top job last night Ade glad to see you come so far. And good to see Josh Padley pull off a shock was working with him on a building site a few month back 😂
Joshua doesnt need a full rebuild back... he can fight Chisora, then maybe Whyte for his second fight back. Then go back into a rematch with Dubois if he really thinks he can beat him by fighting forward pushing Dubois on back foot punching in combinations and using angles. But i personally think Joshua should retire. I think Dubois should re write the wrong with Joyce in December, then fight Parker in spring of 2025 and then go for Usyk rematch and for undisputed.
the only thing i knew going into the fight is dubois wouldnt be effected by wembley or the crowd, why because i honestly dont think dubois has the capacity to think that deeply about anything, it sounds like dig at dubois, but isnt. AJ is the one that always over thinks things and tries to think his way out of problems, like its a puzzle that given enough time he can fix anything, where as dubois is just like "F it, its a fight lets ave it"
AJ should retire because this was a beatdown, rematch only needed if it was close but it wasn't. Daniel was hungry and not afraid of AJ and just went for it and it paid off, well done to Daniel got the win in emphatic style.
Ade show me some love man, I've been saying on so many of your videos over the last few months that I have the AJ DDD fight as a 50/50. I genuinely think this fight was a case of Mike Tyson's famous line "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face". Looking at AJ's hands and posture, it's clear that the strategy his team picked was to do exactly what Hergovic did with Dubois. The straight left to block the vision and then an overhand right coming right away. But that only would work if Dubois fought exactly the same, ie fully square on (because Dubois doesn't have the tightest guard through the middle of the gloves. The Hergovic fight was a bit personal for DDD and he was wreckless, just going gung-ho for headshots. DDD fully prepared and his team made sure he corrected that stance by being much more angled with the left side, rendering the low glove stance of AJ useless. Now I had this down as a genuine 50/50 but my gosh I never imagined DDD would come out so damn aggressive from the first bell! Little over 20 seconds in, he lands a solid right hand on AJ and frankly once AJ felt his sheer power, the gameplan was kind of out of the window, because naturally the fear-factor of getting caught sets in. Dubois has a shorter reach, which means at close range, his shots are so much more powerful. His relentless pace and power gave AJ such a shock that he didn't know which route to take with the fight. You have to give credit to AJ for being a warrior and I hate this talk of AJ needing a rebuild and all that and discrediting his opponents. Let's just give DDD his credit where it's due. NOBODY in the heavyweight division fights like him. He's like a raging bull and on last nights world class performance, I'd be surprised if he loses to anybody any time soon. Honestly, he was a man possessed last night and he fully deserves every ounce of credit due to him. I'd like to see him back in the ring in December against another high level opponent like Parker. I think AJ should aim for somebody like Zhang. His slower style suits AJ better and it would be a good win. FML sorry ^^^ been dying to get that off my chest 🙈
I think he should do a parker fight soon so that he can keep up that activity before the winner of Tyson vs Usyk. Especially if he works on accuracy as well, because all he has to do is punch a little higher to give no doubt against Usyk and that could be it.
Not like this. AJ retiring like this would hunt him for life. An end like this would be the worst outcome for AJ and I feel bad for him. Even a loss on points rematch against Dubious would be ok.
The DAZN poll on the night showed 83% of viewers believed Joshua would win, only 17% believed it would be Dubois. A new poll now shows 93% of the same viewers actually believed Dubois would win all along and the remaining 7% were far too arrogant for thinking otherwise.
I thought i knew boxing well. DDD done to AJ what i thought would happen to Daniel. if he carries that confidence into the Usyk fight will be interesting. Great coverage brother, god bless.
The boxing world with all of these so called experts were bigging AJ up for being this amazingly transformed boxer under the guidance of Ben Davidson with people saying that "This AJ would easily beat all of the previous AJ's along with Fury and Usyk" and we all brought it ... THE HYPE and it certainly was HYPE!
