This is the best stoppage I’ve ever seen in boxing in a long time. A lot of times fighters wanna go out on their shield, but it’s so not worth it in the long run.

I watched the videos on RU-vid, where Beterbiev talked about his training. This person is so strong that he does not need indicative dominance, like many boxers or just people who want to seem cool. In real life, he is very good -natured and respectful.

Beterbiev turned in yet another masterful performance at 38. Truly a legend; he's the type of fighter I'll have my grandkids look up on RU-vid 50 years from now.

Even the judges, bulletproof vest and the mouthpiece washing did not help him. Absolute craftsmanship by veteran Beterbiev !

What's crazy is the fact a lot people don't see Beterbiev small angle changes and slips followed by counters, man. There's a lot to his defense that people miss.

Terrific fight, and another great performance by Beterbiev. I have said this before, and I will say it again - commentary just isn't the same these days. Jim, Harold, Max, Roy, Lewis, Steward. They just told the story of the fight. You could imagine listening to it on the radio and you'd be in the action. I don't think these guys were terrible, but they have to work at it if they ever hope to be like that. The old HBO crew knew their positions and specialties, and just told the story of the fight.

This fight was so entertaining, a classic if you will. Yarde's biggest mistakes were 1, not establishing a good jab, and 2, letting himself get trapped against the ropes in exchanges. Yarde's counter left hook was good, but Beterbiev has a chin of granite. Great stoppage that saved Yarde from possibly serious brain damage. Heart of a lion from Yarde but Beterbiev is a different beast.

The judges, along with the ref, were about to make this a world class robbery in favour of Yarde. Beterbiev pretty much needed a KO to win this fight. That's what you get for fighting in the UK.

Granite chin, fitness of a greek god, amazing ring IQ and punches that would put down a horse. Yarde had a lot of heart and really tried his best, but Artur...WOW. A true great, and a real champion. The TKO was really the culmination of 8 rounds of severe beatdowns. Aw and like Maderna did, Yarde also spat out his gum shield twice in the fight to buy more time. But unlike in the Moderna fight, the referee didn't deduct a point.
