That knock out is really something else. The pure, unflitered speed and precision Inoue has is straight up scary.

This fight had everything for me. The early dramatic knockdown. The comeback. The end of rd 5 when Nery gets up from the canvas and throws down with Inoue till the bell. And then of course the dramatic finish. inoue is must watch boxing fellas. He is making boxing great again.

You can see Inoue fighting a little cautious and hesitant after he was knocked down. From round 2, he adjusted well then felt comfortable for the rest of the fight because that’s what elite champions do.

The knock down only proves that he doesn’t have a glass jaw. A lot of people had doubts about his toughness because he never experienced a knock down but here he was. Monster indeed!

I am truly happy that Inoue got his first career knockdown. I'm pretty sure he's happy about it too. All the pressure of being absolute dominant and unbeatable is finally off of Inoue's shoulder. But how Inoue responded is why he deserves to be the best fighter in the world hands down. You got knocked down but you respond in the way Inoue did. Its game over. Not only did Inoue landed a knockdown of his own in the very next round. He completely overwhelmed Nery with his power, IQ, precision. 3 total knockdowns from Inoue and the knockout....goddawmmmm.
