Rules are: Max 5 of the same, max 5 cav, max 5 missiles, max 3 shock infantry, max 3 pikes, cav and foot missiles are missiles, so you cant bring 5 cav and lets say 5 missile cav. Or 5 foot archers and lets say 3 missile cav. Missiles are missiles, dosnt matter on horse or foot.. And do not underestimate these Leugoz and Arveni elite spears, best spears in the game ;) They have incane stats, and when you put them in defensive formation, which they also have, they become unbreakable..

I destroyed two stacks only for them to have two more in two turns. With my population I can never replenish my troops that fast. Also, do you Livestream on twitch or ytube?
Thanks so much mate! In DeI the ai does not have to abide by population rules, otherwise it would destroy its economy and waste precious pop too easily. Also I have streamed in the past on RU-vid and may again at some point, for now RU-vid is the only platform I’m on. We do have an official discord you can check out though if you haven’t already
Initial skrimish my side i targeted my slingers on the unshielded side of a cimbri heavy spear unit i then moved my general up used intimidate preventing cimbri from using his formation, he would have still lost that one but held longer, my men were in formation so took less damage from precursors and arrows tho cimbri javelins were deadly. cimbri cav could have flanked the medium gaulic cav but they clumped up i got an extra charge with my general sence cimbri cav stayed no pulling out and charge again and then leugoz cav charged in also. We had firepower superiority in this battle. Countermove could have been thracian pikes center, thrace general pop intimidate legeuz center used his javelins make a gap and charge tru that.
