@@user-jq3qt8no7h yea sort of the only thing we have not covered is proof by induction but, for us that wont come in our exams. I will assume you also do normal a-levels if so volume of revolution is should be easy(well I found it easy).
It won't come up, its not something that is in the specification. A lot of the formula book info is from old specifications. One question where you would use that formula is something like write down the matrix representing the transformation in the line y=(3)^1/2 x
