Theres so many "older" AILD you're missing out on. Their best albums imo are Frail Words Collapse, An Ocean Between Us & Shadows are Security You havent reacted to "Nothing Left" that would be a good next song. Iconic guitar riff imo.

You should try a song by Wovenwar. The members of As I Lay Dying formed the band when their lead singer Tim went to prison. They have a similar heavy style, but a lot more clean vocals.

If you like AILD, you should check out Austrian Death Machine. A side project from AILD vocals Tim Lambesis and he's made Arnold Schwarzenegger metalcore parody on that. He's a die hard Arnold Schwarzenegger fans.
