Is it safer to cover it or have it removed? A home I might buy has asbestos tile under carpet. We don’t like the carpet so want to remove it and cover it back up. It’s only in two bedrooms so we could afford to it removed professionally if it’s the safest option. The tile from what we could see before removing the carpet was in tact. Also if we just covered it with click flooring Will removing the carpet beforehand be dangerous?
