I was very surprised to see the ASEAN-Korea Trade and Investment Roundtable 2024 video. ASEAN-KOREA is working on such big projects that will be very beneficial and interesting for everyone in the coming time. All the goals and plans of ASEAN-KOREA are very inspiring. Congratulations to our own PH representative, Ms. Marikar Magpili for the brief discussion about Vision 2028 regarding the Cyber Security Plan. I also wish we could support the plan and learn more about the digital economy and cyber security. ASEAN-Korea Trade and Investment Roundtable 2024 is investing in all digital connectivity services, which is very useful and important for all countries.

Digital trade has been a focus of ASEAN member states in recent years. Through digital trade, micro enterprises and ASEAN SMEs will benefit from greater data flows and electronic payment integration. This will promote innovation-led ASEAN economic growth. Small and medium-sized enterprises and startups with operations in ASEAN countries also need stronger digital trade policies to narrow the digital gap and help companies transfer data more freely and conduct cross-border trade more seamlessly, so that ASEAN All countries benefit.
