Ash Ketchum's Biggest Challenge is Almost Here! 

I'm honestly so excited for the Masters 8 tournament! I hope they throw a lots of curveballs for the matchups I don't even know if I can neither see Ash losing the tournament or winning it all who knows at this point.

I really hope this news means that we're gonna get full episodes of battles between each Masters 8 competitor and not just Ash's battles. I love watching Ash battle but he's not gonna face everyone so I'd love to see what the competition has to offer against each other. Plus it's just 3v3 until (hopefully) the finals so the only consistent members on each team will probably only be their aces.

All I know is, the following opponents NEED to be faced by Ash before he gets to Leon in the finals. Alain, and Cynthia Ash still has a score to settle with Alain (which means Greninja has to come back to help settle said score and show off the bond phenomenon) and it's been hinted that ash will face Cynthia

I think the "flames" part could be figurative, as in, that the battle itself is so intense it could be flaming.

I think that we'll get something similar to the team flare arc, with Chairman Rose instead of Lysandre. Maybe Rose will try to do something that will be related to the box art legendaries of Scarlet and Violet once they've been revealed.

I am going say for the master 8, I am predicting that we will get an villain arc by either before ash vs Leon or after maybe that why they are starting master 8 early on. Calling it now chairman rose and Giovanni are teaming up and it may have tied to project mew as well. We will master 8, ash travel companions, galar gym leader's(most of them) fight off against Team rocket and chairman rose army.

Yeah, Chairman Rose would be stupid enough to highjack a tournament filled with Champions, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed unlike Giovanni, who knows when and how to strike. If anything maybe he'll use the Regis Goh and Gary will capture to provide the energy Eterntus could've and Regigigas would Dynamax to an actual colossus and be the Zygarde/Guzzlord here... and with some luck, we could the Gym Leaders cameo to hold the fort and GMAX Cinderace on Gou's behalf too (if anything I want for Grookey to get lost to reunite them with the Nickit and for Eevee to randomly GMAX in Wyndon like how Pikachu did in JN013). That way Gen 8 can end how it started, with Gou and Koharu, because let's be real, they'll sadly be on a character stalement during the M8 unless Gou captures Galar mons in the outskirts during the time of non-battles like breaks and rest days. Which could work for more Sonia screentime. Only time will tell, I guess. As for Paul, I would love to see his Magmortar using Burning Jealousy on Ash's Dragon Dance'd Dragonite or maybe Ash would battle him with Incineroar, it would be neat... it's weird that we'll get Gladion, Gary, Paul and Alain back-to-back in 4 episodes in a row. Such finality IMO.

Hey does anyone know where I can watch the rest of pokemon master journeys series? I stopped at Netflix in episode 42. I tried looking it up subbed and I can't find it streaming.

Lol people Assumed Paul would be In the masters 8 and now people are assuming infernape will be in the Paul battle y’all need to start assuming journeys will disappoint y’all cus there’s no way this arc will live up to the hype especially since ash likely isn’t facing all the trainers and that’s a let down at that
