Hi!😀 I love the energy of Johannesburg...but I do plan to spend a few months in Durban and Cape Town before I decide where to build or buy. I'm from Los Angeles, so it would be ideal if I could have access to the ocean/beach🌅 with that Joburg energy.🌇 In terms of the homes,🏡 they're beautiful! I like Modern but I prefer Mediterranean.

Some of the older neighborhoods have high walls for privacy and security...but in a lot of the newer communities/subdivisions you'll only see the privacy walls along the sides and back of the homes...not the front.💕🏡💕 I'm originally from California and we're accustomed to seeing this...but when I moved to Georgia, I had to get use to seeing homes without privacy walls at all...I feel soo exposed!😄

We call that a " stop nonsense ", it's for privacy and security in some cases but mostly privacy and marking your yard
