I always loved Ashanti’s personality. I remember being a teenager, her and Tweet came out, i felt like i needed to make a choice although their styles of music was hella different. I chose Ashanti. I really enjoy how respectful this interview was. There was a clear acknowledgment of how business works and it’s not a personal attack on her as a person but she wants her dues. That's not how Masters work. Publishing and writer's rights combined with the freedom to use and move them as u choose, profiting solely is what we call Masters. Writers rights are the artists'... Publishing be leveraged on the money invested and moves busted for said artist. They can usually play for their publishing at regular intervals, with many choosing bigger pay outs over owning their pub.

Ashanti is so inspirational! I got to see her perform for the first time in early October at the Millennium tour (LA). I enjoyed every minute of it because her voice has matured and she has still kept her essence. She’s just amazing and deserves all the flowers she’s been getting lately. ✨💜♎️

Whoever did Ashanti's makeup, has the contouring down to a T🙌🏾. Ashanti has always been one of my fav artists. Her energy is beautiful and pure, which is greatly missing from the industry.
