Thanks to all who have liked this video and commented on it in the past year and a half. Nick and Val were friends of mine for several years. Nick's passing really shook me! I wanted to do a fitting tribute and I knew this video was not in wide circulation. Valerie said she doesn't even remember making this video! I'm glad everyone is enjoying it. There will never be a more down to earth showbiz couple like them again!

My favorite couple - I saw them live and you could see and feel the love they had for each other. Even in this video you can see the look of love in their eyes , especially hers because the camera focuses on hers a lot. Married 38 years. These two were the best husband & wife song writing (& singing) duo ever... I've seen them a few times in concert here in NY back in the 90s as a teenager... NIck was SO into Valerie and she into him, you could see their love was pure and real... They were such a dynamic duo :)

Wow, I know how Val feels I just list my wife to breast 2 months from diagnosis. It had metastasized to her lungs and liver.. Her and Nick's music enabled me to keep it together through those trying two months, they were our favorite singers. We were together 29 yrs, God bless you Val and RIP Nick... Thank you for all the beautiful music..

This is what it's like when you are soul mates! Every thing seems to fall in place. There where never be another Ashord and Simpson. This is as good as it gets. Heaven sent. You never know who your soulmate can be. Nick was sent by God as a homeless man looking for a meal. And Valerie noticed Nick. And the rest was magic!

So beautiful, a magical duo , they are true soul mates. I'm stopped in my tracks every time I hear their voices making audio love to each other..
