Omg, this song makes me cry. I have loved this song since I was little girl in the 70’s because life was so different back then. No internet, no reality TV etc., singers had real God given talent. These two were my childhood and I often wondered why there hasn’t been a movie written about everything they did for music while having their own career also & being married for almost 40 years before Nick’s death. I can't get the maximum effect of "It Seems To Hang On" until I'm listening to this beautiful song by Ashford and Simpson perform it live. In my memory I know this is a great song. It's just while I'm listening to it that I fully know how wonderful it is.

I can always remember the tremendous talent from Ashford and Simpson. As creators of hit songs for various artist during the 60's -- 70's and beyond. When they sang together as a couple, Ashford and Simpson continually created hit after hit, and many concerts SOLD OUT! A great time, also, because of the beauty, and positive " SPIRITUAL " values and goodness integrated within many songs. Lastly, Ashford and Simpson brought joy to your heart and soul.
