For someone who has never played the original game, I like this a lot. The unprofessional voice acting gives Ashley a really authentic voice and doesn’t sound cheesy which normally wouldn’t happen. It really fits the idea of the character I have perfectly. The song is actually pretty good on its own aswell. And the nostalgia with the old DS-style music is hitting hard

If you listen very closely at 0:14 and 0:31, the singer's lines sound jumpy. The reason why this happens is that the singer's lines aren't recorded audio files, like Pokemon cries, instead, they're a midi drumkit that has different words set to different notes. The reason why Ashley's lines aren't jumpy is that her lines, unlike the singers', are not individual words assigned to a note, it's each line is assigned to a note.

This is probs my favorite version, it sounds most like an actual child to me, which she is supposed to be. I like the Brawl version too, but it sounds like an older teenage Ashley. The japanese version is too high pitched to me. But that doesn't mean they're not good. I respect other people's opinions if anyone else likes those versions better, but yeah, just my opinion. Feel free to start up a discussion with me, just as long as it remains polite and civilized.

Ashley is a teenager here in the west, so that's the reason they gave her an older sounding voice, even when she called red in Game and wario she sounded like an adult.

Pie Pierrot That's true, I remember from another source describing Ashley from Warioware saying she's 8 years old in Japan but is a 15-year-old teenager here in America. I don't know WHY they made her seven years older than her actual age in the American version of Warioware Touched, but I sure do hope it wasn't pedophilia-motivated of Nintendo to make a prepubescent girl sexually attractive thus leaving the American translators of the game with no other choice but to advance her age so young American men who have ever played Warioware Touched can have a crush on Ashley without feeling like pedophiles.

Nope, it's not just you. I think Ashley's as damn cute and adorable as the distance from Scandinavia to the South Pacific is seemingly endless when traveled by sea. What makes her one of our platonic pleasures I wonder, is it her bewitching personality or her Japanese-animated physique. Or maybe because Wario and Waluigi needed someone who could use magic (or witchcraft) to manipulate the most mundane people or objects into doing something ridiculous or impossible that might lead up to riches or wealth. Like Ashley casting a spell on an object to make it do something it would never be physically capable to do in a million years. Like a rock or a tree that dances or plays music and people all over Diamond City would pay a fortune to view it.

Otaking Mikohani brawl version. And not even because it is more upbeat. It is just more superior to get that, "is this girl ok?" Feeling out of you. You can feel the hyped up and serious issues much better in brawl. And it has much more feeling, making it easier to feel the different emotions that the song does well conveying to the audience
