Weight update: Men's size 9.5 on my fancy shmancy kitchen scale: Glideride 2: 10.5 oz, Glideride 3: 9.79 oz. Weight drop! Does feel a little lighter on foot too. Hard to say if its midsole or weight or both.

Found G.R. v2 for $65 new. Perhaps I should just get the v3? Never had Glideride.

The weight, toe spring and stack height make me think of the Saucony Shift. How would you compare the two, ride-wise?

any idea of the release date? also is it a carbon fiber plate? or something like the nylon plate in the endo speed? Thanks!

It's a plastic plate. Release in beginning of June.

Hi, I see it is softer than previous model but what about the weight? lighter due the new midsole? for long slow runs glideride 3 or nimbus 24? which one is more confortable and more "breathable" . Thanks.

Biggest difference is drop and toe spring. Nimbus is 10mm with no rocker. Glideride is 5mm with a large rocker

@@paddywiggle thanks, I prefer lower drop, so the glideride 3 should be a better option, hope is less than 300g also

@@r.cordis8251 The GlideRide 3 has a 6 mm drop, no gel, and a plastic plate combined with Asics Guide sole technology. The two shoes couldn't be more different. You will have to try both to see, but they are both long distance trainers.

@@davidlynch9049 I think I have never used a shoe with gel, never tried a nimbus before, regarding the guidesole I have a noosa 13 maybe a bit similar? but for me not so good for long distances, better up to 10-12K and at faster speed, so I think the glideride could be better for 18-21k at slower paces and lighter than the nimbus.

Due to the "rocker" feeling, initially one may feel unstable when walking in them. But I got used to them. I have a pair of GlideRide 1 which I have clocked over 720km of running so far. They are still going strong.

You should go over the stats. Also, one of the biggest differences between the last version and this one is the toe box bend. The drop is now 6mm. You guys seem like an interesting review channel, but you are lazy and not very detailed. Try harder.
