I strayed away from Asics for a long time due to a dislike of the gel. The Novablast was on the money and a drastic improvement. Asics is making the right moves in my opinion.
I haven't put on my pair of Novablast 2s yet (or any ASICS since the stale 20teens lineup), but the 🐐has gotten me hyped with this video! Bring on the Blast, Turbo and Blast+!
I like these informative videos the best. Obviously, the shoe reviews are always positive since RW has to be on good terms with the shoe companies but this was video absolute gold!
Cool vid. I've always been interested on explanations from company's on their foams and the whys. I loved the feel of the FFBlast on the Novablast 1, unfortunately it did not fit my running style at all...It pushed my feet. inwards real aggressively. I overpronate but not that much and the Novablast 1 ruined my feet...but the midsole was amazing!
@@runningwarehousehere's one for ya. 400 lb guy. 11.5 extra wide or wide. Currently wearing gel venture 8. Wanting something more comfy but still stiff enough to not unpredictably crush under my weight when changing directions etc. Which foam material will handle the weight? I tried the nimbus 25 and they were like heaven on the foot but I felt wobbly walking in them. I tried the excite 9 with amplifoam. They seemed a bit squishy. But I tried the contend 8 and they have amplifoam and they seem stiffer. Less unstable. But I would like to get something higher end than the venture and contend. Any suggestions. If not Asics, maybe something else. Comfort is priority, right behind safety.
My favorite Asics shoes are still the most classic. Kayano and DS Trainer. The cush squish is like a drug that'll make you OD if you do too much. #injury
I’m not a runner but I do take my sneakers comfort seriously and hunt for the most comfortable. If I didn’t buy 3 pairs before I tried a pair of novablast I would’ve bought them too lol. Really soft light pillowy and more comfy than adidas ultra B.
I got 2 pairs of Novavlast and novablast pixel noise version with the knit upper. The pixel noise version is a sleeper and both pairs I got are a bit narrower than the regular novablast.
