Great review - I have both and that was an excellent comparison. I loved V1 and didn't have any issues as far as stability but still prefer V2 because the upper is so much more comfortable and locked in. I also prefer the extra support from the denser foam in the midfoot for my high arch and like that the heel does not to move as much up and down from the compressing of the foam due to having previous calf and achilles strains. I have tried a lot of other max cushioned shoes and nothing compares to either version as far as impact absorption and energy return. I'm able to run longer and am less sore.
I went down a 1/2 size in V1 but V2 was true to size. V2 is still bouncy but not as soft and bouncy as V1 but it’s much more comfortable and still has more energy return than any other max cushion shoe. If you think you would prefer V1 some people have commented the Novablast Pixel Noise has a more comfortable upper.
I just got the novablast 1 because they are liquidating the remaining stocks. Really worth it to me, It's like a bouncy castle for adults 😂. Most fun show I ever had.
As much as I love my Mach 4's, I am definitely going to try whatever iteration the Novoblast is on when they wear out or get the N-2 on clearance. Seth and kofuzi love the Novoblast 2 and when there is consensus among reviewers, I listen.

I finally have my 2’s. Definitely more of a ‘hot shoe’ in the Texas heat. I agree with your comments on the 2’s losing some ‘wow factor’ but I do think the 2’s feel a little more ‘mature’ and are definitely more stable. I think the 2’s will sit well with more runners but it’s a shame they don’t feel as unique as the 1’s.
It would have been great if they could have kept the wow factor for sure. Version 2 is much more of a traditional daily trainer. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
Hi Tim. I would like to know whether novablast 2 and 3 are wider than the version 1. I have the version 1 in UK9.5. The shoe length is OK but I wish it a bit wider. I would like to buy the version 3 in the same size. I'm afraid getting the UK10 will be too long
Hey great question. No I feel like the upper is more narrow or form fitting on the Novablast 2. Version 3 does feel a little more roomy than 2 but not as much as V1. Good luck shoe shopping. Have a great day.
I am new and still confused, I have wide foot and high arch but it seems I overpronate. I didnt do gait analysis because at my store it will cost me €50. Once at a shop they asked me to squat to see my foot, when I do it at home I see my ankles slightly roll inwards (against each other). I always felt when I walk or run the pressure is around my big toe, not on the outter side of my foot. Not sure if I should try a stability shoe but I like the squishy and bouncy feeling of V1, makes it more fun🤣

They are so different. I love them both but they nothing alike really. The Novablast 1 is very squishy. I think if you are a neutral runner and landed mainly on your midfoot to forefoot, you'll love the ride. If you heel strike or over pronate, they might not work as well. The Novablast 2 isn't as squishy but are very soft and they are much more stable in the heel so regardless of your foot strike I think everyone can run in these. I hope this helps.
