Asiga 3D printers are characterized as professional tools for industries requiring high precision - dentistry, jewelry, hearing aids, as well as research projects. Asiga's current range of professional DLP devices includes three lineups: MAX, PRO 4K, and PRO 4K XL.
The MAX series of 3D printers consists of four devices - the basic model and three modifications of the MAX X model, with the key difference between all the options being the minimum pixel size - for the basic model it is 62 microns. MAX X machines are ready to print with a pixel size of 27 to 43 microns. At the same time, the standard model has the largest build volume - 119 x 67 x 75 millimeters.
The PRO 4K and PRO 4K XL include three models each, with native pixel sizes of 45, 65 and 80 microns. The key difference between the printers of both lines is the size of the print chamber: the maximum height of printed objects for the PRO 4K is 200 millimeters, while for PRO 4K XL it is 400 millimeters.
Asiga's equipment boasts high accuracy of printing, which is ensured by a proprietary technology: after each layer is cured, a set of sensors reads the position of the platform, and the next layer is cured only after accurate leveling.
The printer can also change the curing time for each layer according to the readings of the built-in radiometer, which measures the cure intensity in real time.
Practical features of Asiga printers include quick material changeover - this procedure takes less than a minute.
All of the company's 3D printers support both the proprietary range of photopolymers and third-party resins. According to the manufacturer, the machines are compatible with more than half a thousand materials.
