I think her modesty above everything else. Sucess - and what success! - has never gone to her head. one can imagine bumping into her in the street and being able to have a quick chat with her on equal turns.

I love this interview. She has done so few overall. She seems like the most sensitive one of the four of them. Agnetha has probably always been the way she is but if you watch the ABBA videos she seems so happy and so sensual and maybe even a party girl. But I think that was really just her portraying what she was asked to portray in the songs themselves. Behind the scenes and in real life I think she is an introvert who needs much alone time or private time to recharge. I love knowing more about her. She is a bit of an actress which all good singers are.

What people often forget is what she was feeling in those days wasn't just her phobia of flying but separation anxiety for her children and feeling guilty for not having been there as often as she thought she should have as a mother. She liked to sing but not touring because of the monotony and I relate to that when it comes to many life situations. You can't make some people get why you've become bored with a line of work. I've had people become irate with me because I had other goals in life.
She still hates flying,and yes it's an empty life,from the plane,cars,hotels,not a life,both Alan longmuir and Eric Faulkner both said that,worse for a solo artists,not a life and boring after a while and dangerous.
As an Abba fan from day one, it was a great treat to see her back in 2013, making beautiful music again. She's so unassuming and lovely to listen to still.
Agnetha Faltskog, What a beautiful classy woman. I really can feel her pain. I feel she was really in love Bjorn Ulvaeus and things have never been the same since they divorced. I listen to Abbas music during that era she was dealing with alot of the serious events at that time I hope it helped her work through it. Living that kind of life for the entire band had to be so hard on every part of thier lives..mentally, physically, emotionally, how can you have a family life being on tour all the time? I really feel for them...and my heart aches for the sad times they faced. Just like my fellow brothers and sisters who serve all around the globe in our precious military I share a bond with them even though I have not met them. I am hoping we as people can share the cup of life and keep a hope in our hearts that we can have love and respect and become better for ourselves....our familys....friends....neighbors...our world....let's celebrate peace, happiness, contentment, great health, affection, acceptance, and most of all Love....we can never have enough....let's enjoy the good that is ours....
I agree,then working with an ex,so hard,there is a vlog where in Sweden after seven years,the woman dates ,the man waits a year, Bjorn said he went looking the next day,it's like he was saying she never existed,or their children,no respect.i liked another vlog where she was asked how time has changed,she said she's learnt alot,and wiser then looked over at Bjorn,then Bjorn and Benny wishing her a happy birthday,he said she still remembers them even after the split.

She's the most grounded and modest superstar you'll ever see. She drives a 9 year old car. Love how she says there are so many excellent artists; and how she was worried if she measures up to Barlow. Ha Ha. So modest. Most others think Agnetha is in a class all by herself; and while there are some vocalist that "approach" her excellence/technical superiority/range; none can match it. Pull up the video for "Kisses of Fire" in Switzerland if you want to see how/why she is unequalled and the absolute best. That's your proof. She does not realize how good she is; she never will; and she can hardly grasp she will forever be a legend of recorded music. Swedish beauty and modesty.

Beautiful woman and singer.. Abba put Sweden no the Map literally. And there is not a band like them even now and never will be I like other artists and music mainly 70's and 80's But you have got to hand it to Abba.. and Agnetha & Frida's voices that will last a life time they are incredible natural you can't go wrong listening to them.. i know this is 7 years ago but Agnetha looks really beautiful for her age. i love ABBA and Agnetha is my favourite member because of her vocals on the ABBA songs and also on her albums she just blows me away every time. but its sad to think that the closet i can get to see abba live is through the tribute band called Bjorn Again which i have seen twice.
If you love a person, they never age. She is still gorgeous and hasn't lost any beauty. But looking at the old videos, ABBA was spectacular and drop your drawers sexy.

Roland Gustafsson That might be because she has met so many people and been around different cultures. LOL. I don't really know any Swedish people, so I am not sure what a true Swedish accent sounds like. I still enjoy listening to her sing. Take care.

You are a very beautiful lady and you always will be. I have always said that hearing you sing and looking at you perform in the many videos with ABBA. You give me the impression back in the 70's and now that you are a very beautiful, sexy and to me a very respected lady in every way. You seem to be very easy to talk to. I myself have said many times that I have a little crush on you. It's like being back in Junior high school or in high school having a crush on someone like you and it's hard to go up to that person and tell them how you feel about them. I know that this is not the first time you have heard this. But that is the way it is. All the most beautiful words in the world cannot be said enough about you. Without ABBA she might haven't been known to the whole world but a big part of it. Remember, she was successful already before ABBA, in Sweden she sold more records than the Beatles at the beginning of the 70s.
