Wow, this has made me realise I have no aptitude for music theory, lol. I can play the uke fairly well, but your A) playing and B) musical knowledge is so overwhelmingly superior that it is a bit daunting! Love what you do, and it's crazy how deep and intense the music theory side can - and does - go, even for what is (on the surface) a basic instrument of four strings. That's what makes me remember that the uke is both easy to play but hard to play well.

Thanks Alex! I think the best plan is to just immerse yourself in enjoying the music it and as long as you’re open to the theory, it will sink in bit by bit! 👍👍

Thanks Andy. After the second listen it makes a bit more sense. But, why does the 4442 E chord not sound good to me?

A lot of people dislike 4442! Perhaps that could be a topic for another video… 😄
