#ICYMI, here's an 'Ask Me Anything' with SWO Saravanan, a Guardsman! He's currently the Formation Sergeant Major of Guards, and he's gonna show you what it takes to be a Guardsman! #ReadytoStrike
"Encik" is a Malay honorific used as a polite expression when addressing another. In context, it is used to refer to a non-commissioned officer (NCO) while "Tuan" is used when addresing a Senior Officer.
@@SuccessforLifester I believe it is Tuan-Tuan dan puan-puan, which means "Gentlemen and ladies" in a polite & formal tone. I don't recall hearing that in any MRT announcement. Maybe my memory is failing me. Lol...
The Regimental Sergeant Major- a feared and respected senior soldier. I didn't know the SAF term was 'encik'- I'll remember that next time I deploy alongside the SAF. By the way, that light vehicle looks to pack a punch- how many Javelins were stuck on the body? Go well guys- deterrrence so nobody outside Singapore gets any stupid ideas and in opposing the SAF, they have effectively purchased a one way ticket to the island....
This annoying host is asking to be whacked with the pace stick. Clearly, the Guards FSM not only professional posture in this video, but really the best in giving the host the real burns. Hats off Sergeant Major!
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Keaton Sergio i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Honored to have served as specialist directly under one of the very few SWOs during my NSF days... this may seem like 'ball-carrying' bt my experience tells me those who hold the SWO rank really have some 'core' in them... he actually dressed down one of the senior specialist for dressing me down wrongfully...
When these RSMs or trainers asked us any questions? actually it was just a formality, before we could ask, they would have moved on. Also we don't dare to ask questions as we might be punished for not paying attention, at least this was what happened during my time when these ppl behaved like kings
@@evolution8662 During PT training, PTI asked "Anyone not feeling well?". Before you could respond, he would start exercise -" Exercise in position Ready!"
Proud of that lady who took up high risk job handling live munitions. Those who fire before faulty 5.56mm & 40mm GL rounds that doesn't fire off will know the fear. This lady handling un-expanded live round just like that even with the bullet jacket head is on and she is so claim then guys.
ahhhhh dieppe barracks..spent a significant amount of years😆there from the 90s to 00s..went through 4 intakes ,3 rsm🥲, 1 lady in red & numerous white figures.
Not sure if I'm gonna get replied, are guardsman issues with newer weapons? When I served in 2016 I was a Saw gunner and the Iron sights were not tipped with colored paint so night firing was black on black. it was hard
Only if you really want to stick with it forever, because very difficult to transition to another career unless you can open your own business or something like that.
People canggih technologi modern and *Tuan Agus Hariyono* bisa Canggih juga technologi Modern bisa cepat tapi tidak bisa Di lihat people hanya menggunakan idea melalui to dalam pikiran 100% betul and Benar menggunakan Biologi, Matimatika, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam and Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial and masih banyak di belakang untuk di pelejari for me.
You are very eagar to be a guard. Spend some time with the Indian Army in Siachen. That should be fun. On a serious note: 1. Indian Army does a great job protecting our boundaries. 2. Respect to all military personal for their services to their nation. 3. Your video was a bit funny. Good.
GTFO James Yue Without the RSAF there is no HALO Jump or Paratroopers and there is no precision air strike on your target and there is no Chinooks to bring you home after a mission You need everyone support in a fight.
