Greetings Nathan I am so delighted to see you have a high quality pickle fork in production and available I purchased one today. The pickle fork shooter was named after a tool called a pickle fork that separates ball joints on a vehicle frames I actually did not coined the phrase if someone else did that I sent a pickle fork to and he told me that's what it reminded him of so that that's where the name stuck.
Yes sir, well done. Your new frame brings forth and popularizes the realization of pouch release differences upon the ball path and the mastery of pouch control. Again, well done!
My first slingshot I've ever shot was a picklefork and I got so used to shooting it and got so accurate with it that when I got a torque slingshot I was unfamiliar but quickly got the hang of it
Good video and cracked me up a few times. You made it clear it's not for everybody but said the good too. Glad to see the beginning of your pfs line up. I'll have to get one and try it out. I'm sure it's a winner!
My dad has been making me slingshots since i was 10 they were always pickle forks and now i know why. Pops is 100 percent Guatemalan 🇬🇹 learned to shoot a pickle fork before any other slingshot 🙏🏾
Darrin, I almost changed my Flippin Pickle to the clear due to your video... I liked the water scene. But I already lose stuff. Went with green. Thanks Nathan as well. It shipped already. Imma dust off some Roma tabs with tubes for this one. Woooooooooo! S'gonna be fun.
Darryl Guillory is that Paw paw sailor? I've made paw paw sailor pickle fork few years ago from the blueprints. I'll have to research him. I can't wait to order this one soon.
I think there's more physics when it comes to shooting a narrow gap. Your spreading the weight of the bands over a smaller area. It makes the shot a lil more concentrated if you will. In my opinion, it makes it easier to shoot stronger bands without losing as much accuracy. With that being said.... it can be more difficult. I've always shot instinctively, and I think that's what it usually comes down too. If you like to stop, breathe, take aim, and really calculate your shots, then traditional is probably the route you wanna go. Pickleforks are the "Peyton Manning" version of shooting slingshots. No huddle, just GO.
Some shoot PFS great right from the start. It is much like OTT vs TTF, what works for one may not work well for another. As long as you're shooting, that's what counts.
@@simpleshot That's why I love slingshots so much. There's so many different styles, and techniques. From the frame all the way to the pouch. Everything is easily customizable to accommodate for whatever you like or don't like.
