Looks like she's come out of the shower and is wrapping her hair to dry it. I think she ought to get a thinner and shorter head wrap fabric (like silk) and do it in a high bun (wrap around the hair) style that most people who wrap their hair do. So its clearly a style statement, rather than a shower statement. But Steve is right about the advice he gave (so sweet and honest!). She'll find a good man. Doesn't have to hide her hair to get a guy to ~see her~ for her. The right one will.

i find there is no problem with her wanting to wear a head wrap. i love them. but i just think hers are too big for every day to day. maybe for special occasion. she just reduce it and she will be good to go.

She's a pretty lady. Whether her hair is natural (most likely), permed, curled, wrapped, or whatever just be comfortable, but no changing looks halfway through the date. Not only will she not get a second date, she may not finish the first date. She might mention that she usually wears her headwrap but thought she'd wear her hair down for the night. Then go on and enjoy the date. If there is a second date, she can wear her wrap and he won't be in shock....which is likely to happen if she has two fashion looks on one short dinner date, especially a first date. Also, just my opinion, this particular headwrap is ok, but it just doesn't match that particuler outfit. She might want to review some Erika Bardu photos from back in the day. Or, as someone else suggested, just look at a few black fashion magazines, blogs, etc. for ideas. (The headwrap has to match or compliment the outfit you are wearing.)

Always be true to yourself. It's not worth it to be fake. For what it's worth I think this girl looks good with the wrap, and would not change without it.

LOL, I love wrapping my hair. A lighter wrap might be easier to handle both for yourself and for an updated date look. Check out how other cultures esp. African wrap their hair for inspiration. It can be Cultured and classy ;)

I love headwraps... So def go as you are on a date BUT wear the headwraps well... This is messy.

3 things: (1) that wrap is nice... just take from like a size 10 to a size 2. (2) steve hit the nail on the head at the end! (3)... anybody else just waiting for her to take that wrap off and show us either some LONG hair or a bald head! Either way it would've been cool!

My daughter wears a head wrap sometimes but nothing on that grand scale that is just way to much towel looking like just stepped out the shower, scale the cloth back a bit, or like Steve say take it off, men not crazy about that they like a nice hair style.
