I hope you all enjoyed the video! I would like to give a special shoutout to every titan involved in this video, you guys are the best for taking the time out of your day to help. My sincerest thank you.
I started out as a warlock then I switched to titan because of they can tank hits they stand on together and crushing enemies devastating supers and especially FLING DONG
I was under the impression that the titan class was basically a tank class, and because I am complete shit at dodging, I opted for that over a squishy DPS class. Eventually I found out that tankiness is more dependent on your build than anything, but by that point I had discovered how fun it was to one punch smaller enemies and also repeatedly punching low health bosses until they die, so I never bothered going for hunter or warlock...
I'm a Titan main for duty. Warlocks wield their Light in a way that reflects their pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. Hunters wield their Light to do what needs to be done, often for themselves, with others being helped as a side bonus that they'll never skip because of their pride. They lack honour or focus. Titans? They live and die for the City. Every action they take is for a higher cause. They wield their Light in tactics that serve others first. Strikers become living front lines so that others don't have to. Sentinels become living shields when everything falls around them. Sunbreakers throw aside their own desires and needs in service to the Traveler and humanity, fighting lonesome and stubbornly. Titans are both the storm and the shelter, the flame in the darkness. And that's why I love them. Utter selflessness.
Totally Agree with you.. the most selfless class are the Titans ! Titans are what will keep the team alive, and die doing that. Straight forward, No tricks, just in your face Protective Walls. Protect and Support... The Titan Mantra !!
Selflessness, Hunters literally go outta their way to get shit done for people lol, and if you take a friends life. They will go OUTTA THEIR WAY to avenge them and give some sort of recompense for their loss lol. Pride aint got nothing to do with it stop self projecting bruh lmao
I’m a titan main because I feel like titans are the most “balanced” when it comes to both PVP and PVE, also I loved the way the armor looked in D1 and in D2
@YourPlug what do you mean cap warlocks are better then titans in most scenarios in PVE and hunters have been better than titans in PvP so boom balanced
For me, it’s being able to just run in, jump into a horde of enemies and kill everything. Since D1, I’ve mained sunspots, being able to charge in with no sense of self-preservation and kill everything. The high resilience is really fun, and the bulky armor is really cool to me.
I get you my guy. Was a Solar Titan Main specializing in the Path of Burning Steps until Solar 3.0. Then went all in on being a Solar Titan Ashen Wake main, a mixed play style of Radiant Gunplay and Roaring Flames buffed Fusion nades with crazy ability and health regn.
I like how the answers are a mix of genuine answers from the preference of the players and some meme answers. Gave it a nice view of being a Titan main beyond the whole “crayon eater” meme Titans are viewed. Great video, hope you make one for Hunters and Warlocks next time

I'm a Titan main for the fun factor. As a casual player, having fun is my number one priority as far as what I use and when, balanced with it actually being at least good enough of course, and when I heard of Thundercrash and sunspots I couldn't not make a Titan. I've made characters of both other classes, but I'm a Titan main simply because I find Titan to be the most fun class to play
The small lore tab when I got into D1 3 weeks before TTK, I was like 'Oh so the meatshield and human projectile. Perfect!' Ever since I've always been the Titan main that focuses on either shielding my allies or making my friends' problems go away. Unlike everyone else, I took the lore in stride.
I picked Hunter to solo missions by cloak and so on, whenever my group is cornered I just cloak away and get to another point to distract some of the enemies and pinch them between taking cover between my sights or my allies sights- attack me or just friends and the enemy must turn their back to the other. Explosives help keep off groups so my lack of powerful weapons and slaughter fest doesn’t make the split tactic over in a few minutes when they swarm me
I saw the hunter flipping a knife and having a cape. And also my brother was a titan and his other friend was a warlock who both made me play so a hunter made sense
I feel like that happened to me for d1 my dad was a titan and my older brother was a hunter and I was a warlock for a while and now that im looking back at it I think my brother said I had to be a warlock because the titan and hunter were already taken

I’m a Titan main because I feel as if the lore best fits my personality and the gameplay is fun. I love the lore of firebreak Titans of tanking in battle and forcing all enemies to fight them back. The unstoppable wall idea, I love it. I want to be a unmovable force that holds the front line, having that mentality makes me feel as if I’m living in the world of destiny.
This. Right here. Full stop. That's also the reason I'm a Titan main. "The shield upon which the darkness breaks." Titans hold the line. They're not spies or academics, they are soldiers and they are terrifyingly good at what they do. Get close to the enemy and pulverize them fast, devastate their forces so they can never recover. I LOVE the power fantasy of the Titan, in brutal killing power and deadly sentinel.
If I’m gonna be completely honest here, I picked Titan simply because of how similar they looked compared to a Spartan. Now, I’ve only played Halo 4 and a bit of Reach when Destiny came out, but seeing the armor the Titans had was a clear pick for me. Also, punching things have always been a little guilty pleasure of mine in games.
Honestly I’m a titan main because it speaks to me. I’ve always played the knight/soldier type character and it just made the most sense for me. It also seemed as if titans made the most sense lore wise because you would think that a weakened humanity would need an strong army not a bunch of scholars and renegades, but no hate against the other classes.
Honestly the titan lore is just the best and most fleshed out among the three classes. There are so many more legendary titans then any other classes, dredgen yor, saint, Saladin, shaxx, kabr, holder, radagast, Wei-Ning, etc… Hunters have what- shin, cayde, andal, and that’s about it Warlocks- Osiris, eriana, ikora
@@imSovi the speaker isn’t confirmed to be a warlock, and there were many I believe one Is implied to have been a titan, and while yes there are other Watlokcs besides who I mentioned 99% of them get like 1 lore entry and that’s it, every titan I mentioned has a plethora of lore surrounding them(except toland idk why I didn’t put that one in) Plus there are plenty of other titans, silimar, vel tarlowe, holborn, jagi, etc…
Also Warlock: Albios (who seems mostly forgotten albeit having really cool lore surrounding the Guardians' first defeat by Crota on the moon, which was available on a Bond the Speaker sold in D1 that looked really cool)
You forgot lady Artemis for the hunters and lord fellwinter to the warlocks both of whitch were iron lords my friend, but yes titans have more named characters in lore and game
You ever hear the noise when you crush an ally between your shoulder and a wall? That nice thunk followed by that crunch noise? Thats why I play titan.
I would love to be included in the hunter section! My brother was a hunter only main and had 3 different save slots for each subclass. All hunters. I watched him play from the start of destiny to the Rise of Iron when I stopped watching him. So when I eventually got into d2 during the middle of Season of Undying. I mained hunter. Like, I was passed torch when my brother stopped playing and I ended up surpassing him and my own expectations. More to be said of course!

Not gunna lie, beta D1, I was absolutely sold when I saw "Ward of Dawn" in the character select screen. I love the support type roll that is also a bit of DPS so I went with titan. Been a main ever since 😋
Reason I main Titan; I saw Fist of Havoc in the first official trailer for Destiny 1, and knew from that moment Titan was the class for me. Haven't wavered since.

You just got a new subscriber. I'm also a Titan, it literally is the MOST versatile class in the game. From healing, to over shields to doing damage all in the same class. Warlocks come close but not as over powered as Titan. TITANS UNITE LET'S CRUSH THESE PEONS IN THIS YEAR'S GUARDIAN GAMES!
Fresh out of Halo and jumping into D1 with my wife, I saw Titan as immediately comparable to a Spartan. I anticipated it to be a soldier, defender, space knight, and with my own background in TTRPG's, there was a part of me that "knew" it would be good to have party diversity. My wife saw warlock and immediately gravitated towards it. Being a space wizard sounded pretty appealing to me too, but instead I pulled on the massive pauldrons and took my place as a crayon eating front line war machine. There have been many times I have considered swapping over to being a warlock main, and I do have a character for each class, but somehow I'm still wearing the butt towel proudly. Titan lets me feel simultaneously like a roided up meathead and a tactical battlefield commander at the exact same time and I love it.
I'm a titan cause when they were introduced I immediately loved the design and enjoyed the feeling of being like a walking tank. 😤 Now I'm still a titan and my brother is a warlock but he's aspiring to be a titan...I'm so proud of him.😭
I used to main Titan. For me, it was the feeling of being a fighter jet, if that makes sense. Calculated strikes and being a weapon of mass destruction just by virtue. That, and I just liked picking fights, as all young men do. Then, when D2 launched, I was diagnosed with a rather nasty illness, and I came crashing down to earth. This was the start of my Hunter phase. I mained Hunter for 4 years, but I found that I was largely one-dimensional with that character; I always wore Stompees and played Gunslinger/Nightstalker and was an anime/emo person, and I played this until BL. I then started to shift as a person in the wake of the Pandemic. Now, I've settled on Warlock. I still play PvP, but not because I want the highest kill games or the greatest PvP skillset; but because I like to help. My temper is largely kept in check now, and yes, while I still suffer and am still in intense pain sometimes, I've found it more therapeutic to help my teammates. I feel a great deal of pain, and i've been in pain for a long time, but it doesn't mean I need to be inflicting it on others all the time. Though, in the rare case you see me put the Lumina/Well away, and switch to Stormcaller? Run far and wide. I am not in the mood for your shit today, and I am in more pain than usual.
@@adarshkamoda9183 Thank you. Though, I wouldn't call it bravery or courage, considering the fact I run away and throw healing grenades the moment I start losing lmao.

i initially chose titan as my first class in 2014 because i liked the look of their armor the most and their playstyle seemed the most intuitive with how i think. i think what really got me to become a die hard titan main though is how they are characterized to the lore. They're the most dedicated to protecting the city and they're brilliant strategists. and then reading about the titan orders like the firebreak, pilgrim guard, first pillar, etc. really got me hooked. just something about it really drew me in.
I remember playing the Destiny 1 alpha and being asked which class I wanted to pick. The entire reason I was playing the alpha was because I love Halo, and obviously wanted to see what Bungie was going to do next. Titans are the closest things to spartans, and I've been a titan main ever since.
Titan jump feels great, shoulder charge is super fun, and you can either be a shield for your team if a kamikaze and thundercrash. Plus we can get away with being stupid. It's just super fun imo. But I enjoy playing all 3 classes.
I Haven't played Destiny in about 3 years. But I mainly used my Titan because It was a representation of what I desired to be from a physical standpoint. Plus I'm a Halo player, so being a Titan was the closest I could be to a Spartan.

I cant participate in the warlock session, but i am a warlock main, started out as a hunter, decided i didnt like it and was like, you know what, Space Magic, and have been doing space magic ever since
Hay, D1 Vet Titan main here to add mine in: I main titan because it felt the most like a Spartan from Halo, the jump is a Reach Jetpack, as someone who liked Halo back in the Bungie Era the Titan class felt the most familiar when using it.
Recently switched from warlock to Titan (I never play pvp for context) Fastest class without any special tricks. Best abilities, best fashion/armour aesthetic, lore is unbelievable💪🏻. Void 3.0 made them unbelievable the only reason I mained warlock was devour and now it’s not an issue so we’re all good
Because in D1 I could look like a spartan and now it’s because I love running in and drawing attention from the enemies AND because I can look like a spartan. I like being the tank and shielding my team, and skullfort was my first exotic armor piece
It boils down to three reasons, the other two emerging after I got really into Destiny: 1) I'm a HUGE Titanfall fan so the name alone got me hooked to picking the class 2) My clan has very few Titan mains, so it feels good when we're raiding, a guy needs help, and I can jump in without risking death 3) Void overshield is broken af

I’m a Warlock Main, My 11 year old son was a hunter main until he saw the Aztecross video on “how to be a titan” he became a titan and never looked back! It was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen on being a titan. This was a great video. Loved hearing from you crazy titans!

I'm a Titan because I'm a Spartan. And coming off YEARS of Halo into Destiny, there was no other option for me but to be a Destiny Spartan and continue my punching mania. ...Then came the discovery of the Shoulder Charge. And that satisfying crunch Hunters and Warlocks make when they get impacted by a freight train of armor and field drivers.
I’m a titan main partially due to a young me being obsessed with “warrior” classes… now? Well I can’t imagine doing anything else but be the front line. The shield. The tank. I am the one that will strike hard and fast, and keep you safe and alive.
I believe there is nothing funnier than a one-shot with a Peregrine shoulder charge, or a multi-kill out of nowhere with ballistic slam and Dunemarchers
I was very young so I just went for the big tanky robot guy. As time went on and I started to discover the deep lore of Destiny, I began to truly understand what a titan is. I am now a loyal sunbreaker. Also, the Throwing Hammer melee with the right build is the most satisfying thing in Destiny history and you cannot convince me otherwise. No, I don’t eat crayons but I appreciate being part of a team chill enough to turn what was probably created by hunters as an insult into a meme.

I picked up Destiny during House of Wolves, and that's when I started maining Titan. I can't fully recapture what enticed me then, but I know my favorite subclass at the time was Striker and my favorite exotic armor was Peregrine Greaves. Shoulder Charge was super fun PvP mobility and a OHK option in your pocket at all times, and it felt cool. I liked the rushdown aggro aspects of Titan. These days, I like Titan at least partially cuz of inertia, and partially because-weird to say-it doesn't have a lot of stuff that other classes do. You don't have on-demand mobility like a dodge or icarus dash, you don't have many ways to refresh yourself in the middle of a fight like a rift or Wormhusk or whatever, you don't have weird tech. You have a punch, a grenade, a gun, a good jump, and a wall you can put down. That's it. Playing Titan feels like you're getting the raw fundamentals of the game, unaided by any other conveniences. It's simple, but there's so much complexity and consideration behind your every move-it's perfect.
I started out as a Titan to have a more similar experience with Halo. Run and gun, be a walking tank, maybe punch stuff. Abilities and fancy jumping are just too complex to have to worry about. Now I've started to embrace my heritage. I am a simple Titan. Me good, they bad. Good punch bad.
The reason I picked Titan way back in D1 is that holding your ground in ANY game is a great benefit to you AND your team. To be the stubborn bastard refusing to concede a position the enemy wants gives ample time for your allies to get set up for the next loop, and for pursuing a disorganized team (be it clumsy players or a tactical breakthrough on your end), you can opt to vanguard the attack with Striker and Sunbreaker or set up a Superfob with Sentinel, optionally buffing the bubble with Saint-14's helm or the new overshield grant. In short, Titans are BEASTS on both the offensive AND the defensive. Lately however, I've been playing the Hunter lately since I'm more solo with the clan I was in collapsing. Young Ahamkara's Spine is my current go-to as you can just pump out damage on bosses by yourself though it's not nearly enough in Raids. (I should get to grinding my Titan actually.)
I went Titan because of an Aztecross video. I stayed Titan because of the play style and memes. It's just fun. Plus they always look so badass with fashion. Just can't be beat.
During D1, I was tossed up between Hunter and Titan. After awhile, I solidified my spot as a Titan main when I completed the Sunbreaker quest. That final mission on Mercury when I used the Hammer of Sol for the first time was priceless.
i'm a titan main here. there's multiple reason why I play titan: 1. tanky, like to punch stuff 2. me and my brother usualy play in a team of 2, he play hunter for long range dps, so i take the role of a cqb tanker 3. titan look sturdy af
I originally chose Titan when first starting D1. Saw my older sister choose a Warlock and decided to make a switch. Finished off D1 with Titan and Hunter. Came to D2 and had loved the Titan and will always support the Titan class.
Fisting the Darkness is fun. Serious answer - I was the protective bubble Titan while my buddy went apeshxt using Fist of Havoc and then Hammer of Sol back in D1. I took pride in saving my allies' lives by dropping a bubble on their heads...but I was also responsible for a lot of team deaths back in the day doing the same thing. A running joke became that I was secretly on Skolas's payroll when we tried Prison of Elders.
I subbed! Great content. Fun to hear from the community! My wife and me have been playing since D1 alpha. She's a warlock, i'm a Titan and one of my best bud's is a Hunter. Great community, fun game.
As a triple Titan class having Main since d1 day one for both destiny’s I can completely and whole heartedly say that I picked the Titan class because of lore and his strength and how resolute he was. His demeanor and stature struck me as a calm and gentle yet a protective tank. The protector of everyone and everything around him willing to lay everything down for the sake of others. A honorable warrior that was looked down on as brainless because of size and stature, yet the smartest in the room and always humble. A kind soul yet an utter destroyer when put in the right situation. A protector and death itself. When faced against a hunter and a warlock none of them stand any kind of chance against a pillar of steel, we are all too fast, too smart, and too strong for you to handle. Lore says everything you need to know about titans. Rarely has a Titan gone rouge and killed innocent people especially compared to warlocks and hunters who have multiple evils.
I’m a warlock main for 2 reasons… I love the whole space magic and magic idea in general and it’s something I’m passionate about. The other reason, which happened before the 1st one, is when I played d1 for the first time when I was 14 I picked warlock because I watched guardians of the galaxy a few days before. I saw the red trench coat in the character select screen and thought “holy shit I can be star lord!” Yeah I was a nerd…

As a hunter main that was a Titan main in D1. I must say these comments are amazing and every single titan is important to this game, even the new titans that don't use their barricades enough. You're all important

Titans have my favorite power fantasy. Hammers, going fast, walls, ice walls, being a big knight that can fly through the air, protecting my teammates, punching, just all of it. I feel like a one person army and it’s so fun. I don’t get that from other classes.
In D1 I pretty much just chose hunter right off the bat because it seemed the like the most generic easy to play style (which it is). But in transitioning to d2 I decided to become a warlock main. I was able to heal my allies and help protect them. Which I found I really liked to do. Then however I started going back through all the campaigns as a titan. I discovered that I really like being the tank. But not because I can protect myself, but because I could protect my team mates. I can't count the amount of times I've come at the last moment and put up a barricade or a ward, or just shield bashed the enemy. My team always is super thankful.
It’s the rich Titan lore for me. Titan orders, building the wall,…the whole Knights of the city theme. We are the protectors. We are the backbone of any fireteam. There’s just something noble about being a Titan.
I'm a Titan main. I was a Warlock Stormcaller main in D1 and Devour Warlock main in the first like 2 months of D2... until I came across the Skullfort. Fell in love with melee'ing all the time. Then, missile started falling off, void 3.0 came out, and now I'm a sentinel main that uses Dunemarchers. I also enjoy tanking Shreikers and other such enemies to the face whille killing them and my warlock/hunter friends are hiding behind me.
I only started being a Titan a couple of months ago, I used to main middle tree solar warlock, and from some video I heard that a Titan was probably the closest you could get to feel like a spartan and I just decided to try it. Next thing you know I got absolutely hooked on it, built a monster support titan and now I shoulder charge everything that moves.
Ward of Dawn. To create a massive, near unbreakable barrier to create an eye of calm in a storm of chaos; to be the wall that the Darkness breaks against. Titan class fantasy is top tier. Power in simplicity.
D1 released when I was pretty young, and I didn't really understand things. I got it, and asked my parents what the easiest class was. Dad said titan, I asked what they did, he said "Destroy everything" and I havent stopped using one since.
As a titan main myself, I chose titan because not only do I like playing tanks in games, but my dad was also a titan and recommended it. Destiny 1 was my first real game I ever got, and I didn't really know how to play so I wanted to go with his recommendation. Been one since, won't even touch the others. Titan just feels... right.
I’m a Titan main because my friend let me make his third character on D1 which was a Titan and then I got the game for myself, It was my favourite jump and I got twilight garrison very soon into the taken king which was the icing on cake. I hope twilight garrison returns one day
As a fellow Titan main that has amassed 15k kills with a lorentz driver paired with multimach and peacekeepers. I must say, this video was hilarious, embarrassing, cringe, educational, and plain enjoyable. You earned a sub! Creative video concept, I'm sure this video will keep growing and there will be clone concepts but keep up the awesome work Jahmez!
it's all about that smash playstyle. you go in, and you smash everything. doesn't matter if you're a striker and you smash everything point blank, or you're a sunbreaker and you smash at a distance, or you're a sentinel and you set up a wall of smash
I'm a titan because day 1 destiny 1 my brother said I would like them. They looked awesome when I loaded the game up the first time. After playing a little while I just loved playing as a titan and I love the lore that Titans have. Just so awesome.
My older brother played D1 and only ever played warlock and hunter. When we got D2, I tried out the titan and realized that titans have the best armor, the best abilities, and can take a lot of damage. Now I can't stop punching things.
D1 I was a warlock main and boy did I love just lighting everything on fire. But I picked up D2 when it was on Gamepass and honestly with the hype of lightfall and the lack of gametime... I feel lost in if I can rekindle my love for Titans again. It was nice to have a class where I could almost turn my brain off but still have these moments of sheer action where you superman into a boss for a spectacular kill, dodging between shots to pop a shield to push a line of fire, or just becoming "Thor after eating an entire bag of Takis". The fit. The exotic choices. The Halo Knight vibes. I miss it a lot and all I wanted before I quit was to be the best bubble blowing titan. Edit: considering the amount of "I like punch" comments... I just want to say I have a spotless academic record with honors. This was my "return the monkey" game to get the anxiety out.
I’m a titan main too, Why I’m a titan, Because I'm a Big Fan of the Halo trilogy + Reach & ODST (Except 343i's Halo). I'm applying my Spartan experience to Destiny 2, and Titan is the closest thing to a Spartan character.
While I can certainly see the appeal of each class (I have one of each for Destiny 1 and Destiny 2) and how each one has their benefits to a fireteam, I will always be a Hunter-main. I don't really have many friends, and since I moved to an area with very shitty internet, I can't even really squad up with other people in multiplayer games (if I boot up Destiny, I am the only player in my entire server unless I am invited to a fireteam) so I ended up with that lone-wolf mentality for my character. Seeing as I had to go through most of the game alone, I feel like my Guardian's story was made to be that of a Hunter with his only real companion for the most part being his Ghost. Also, out of the 3 main Vanguards, Cayde-6 has always been my favorite. (Been a big fan of Nathan Fillion since Buck from Halo 3: ODST) Plus, no lie, the only reason I ever got into any PvP in Destiny was back in Destiny 1 when the Iron Banner Hunter armor netted me a wolf-pelt cloak which to this day, is still one of my favorite designed piece of armor across the entire Destiny series. I love most of the Iron Banner gear in general with the wolf motifs and iconography, especially the specialized Rise of Iron armor with the flaming wolf details.
I'm a titan for the same reason I play a warrior class in every game I play: I desire to be strong to help people, to be strong enough to protect others, to be their armor and sword...if I could do that, then I would die happily...
I'm a titan because of their lore. We live to serve, to protect. We titans are the stalwart protectors and builders of the last safe city of Earth. I'm a sentinel, and by being a Sentinel, I am the wall against in which darkness breaks, and just like Her, who held the line against the fallen to save those people, I strive to do the same. Titans have so many heroic and epic examples. Twilight Gap, the battle of the Six Fronts. In the battle of the six fronts, not one fell.
As a D1 glacier white edition PS4 owner, I picked titan because it seemed like the tank character of the 3. Additionally, it also seemed to fit the one-man-army/ master chief/ soldier style and aesthetic.
I'm a Titan because the idea of taking the scariest fuckers in the galaxy, your Oryx, Savathun, etc, and deciding that your response to them encroaching on your shit is to /deck them in the teeth/ is such a chad move. Titans are just chads.
Habibijan said it perfectly. That's probably why at least 1/3rd of Titans are Titans. As a Titan main, I'm also and idiot, but it's the primal instinct to punch and smash that brings one in as a Titan. Going into Arc 3.0, all smash fantasies are going to be fulfilled. Rise up, Thundercrash mains.
if i were a titan main, id say its because i like to support my friends. i am a warlock main, because i can just dish out healing and empowering, but every class can provide the support role I like to play.

I started off with hunter, but during my second-ish match of crucible I saw a titan *shoot themselves at me* . Me, being a massive fan of comical abilities, immediately swapped classes. I’ve never regretted it. On a side note, the reason why I’ve stayed is because titan is the only class I like *all* of the ultimates on, alongside the fashion being clean.
I'm a titan main because back in middle school, on halo reach, I had more melee kills then anything. So, I chose titan, and I never looked back. Turns out, it fit well! Low skill floor, high skill ceiling, so easy to pick up, and mastery makes you pretty intense in pvp! (Not that I'm anywhere near that.) And so since d1 to present, I've been a titan!
I've pick playing as a Titan because I've mostly play Halo Reach before Destiny 1; Since both Spartans and Titans were mostly similar in their design. Later on, I've come up a story for my Titan as the "Iron Maiden" when Rise of Iron came out and the ability to throw fire hammers along with the armor. As of today of me writing this comment, I'm still playing as a Titan throwing flaming hammers and hammer punching my way through while doing a bit of Guardian Fashion. I've did play as a Hunter for a character I had in mind, but my heart still goes to the Titan.
