Having the chance to interview and question a Superyacht owner was an absolute privilege. If it is one thing I truly love to do, its question and learn from those that have done incredibly well in life. Sit down and simply ask. How? Why? Should? Would? SO MANY QUESTIONS TO ASK. Hope you enjoyed the insight.

My first boat was bought with the help of Ms Lyra Holt Dean. Sailing is thousands of years old and we continue this long-lasting, intriguing and at the same time dangerous tradition! Throughout history sailing has helped various civilizations to develop and prosper as people sailed accross oceans to settle in new undiscovered areas. Each time we set a sail it’s as if you could feel the same excitement, uncertainty and craving for adventure as it used to be thousands of years ago. In a way sailing is like a bridge connecting us with times long lost.

True. If you can actually manage money effectively AND keep a job at the same time, you'll be alright financially. Just look at all the videos of people who became millionaires by winning the lottery and went broke in only 2 years. The biggest fool was Andrew Whittaker Jr, who LOST a whopping $300 million! Wow, that has to be the most compulsive, reckless spender ever...

Hi Jared, I enjoyed watching the video. Chris seems like a very down to earth guy. He was obviously given a leg up in life, but definitely appreciates everything he's been given and instead of settling for what he had has worked hard to maintain and grow his lifestyle. He really seems to appreciate not only his family and friends, but also the people that work for him. I see a lot of those same qualities in you. I see how far you have come in a short period of time. You have a strong work ethic and the respect you give to everyone around you whether a yacht owner or one of your viewers just starting out will serve you well. As Wilson Mizner said, "Be nice to people on the way up because you'll meet them on the way down". I have no doubt I will be watching someone interviewing you someday to find out the secret of your success. Keep up the good work. Love ya brother.

Excellent interview and video Jared, as a younger guy who owns a successful contracting business on a much smaller scale than being able to purchase a yacht I agree 100%. Much of success is hard work, determination, and never giving up or excepting no as an answer. The rest is being in the right place at the right time and creating the right contacts .

Chris is a cool guy. It doesn't just apply to yachting but to all aspects of business that employers should value and appreciate the staff they employ and I try to do that in all of my busnesses. We have had the same crew on our yacht for the last 5 years and they are on full time contracts where they are paid even out of season. So many other yachts struggle to keep good crew for extended periods. You cannot keep people on what amount to temporary contracts and expect them to remain on standby for you, they have lives of their own to live. Great video

Most people would find success if they came from where he does but he does seem down to earth . Good for him.

Not really. He's not living off a trust fund, he's running the business. It's a million miles apart and you can't just sit still and watch the money come in when you're the boss. You need the skills to keep things going and improving.

Chris is the owner. Not the captain. Some of you aren’t getting that.

Brought me to tears when Chris talked about humility, beautiful man & hope he and his family have plenty more beautiful memories on that wonderful yacht.

Very good interview! Chris, the owner seems to be the type of person you would hope most wealthy people are. Usually, wealthy people are thrown into a group that people vilify for no good reason, but in reality they make the world turn.
