And now you have seen great examples of why the voting age should not be lowered! In fact it should be raised along with drinking and the age of sexual consent!
The voting age should be dropped to 16. If people can pay tax they should be able to vote. With your logic we should place age restiction on people that are old shouldnt be able to vote because they are about to die
I want to know how the chubby guy in the beggining did the assessment while waiting to be seen by a doctor ,which person is Bulgarian and that they don't pay taxes. He should be a psychic not a' bissiness owner'
Lowering the voting age is a bad idea. When I was 16 I would’ve loved to vote. But now I reflect on my younger youth days I can honestly say my knowledge on politics the economy/defence or immigration was very limited. I’m 22 now and have voted and have had a better understanding of why I voted and I understand who I put my vote for. Some young people from the age of 16 are capable of having a great an excellent understanding however it is a very small percentage let’s be real. Even some people over the age of 18 are the same 😂however the difference is more people over 18 are business owners, in full time employment or dither education, so they are forced to have a grasp on more areas politically and economically than somebody who is 16. I think if the voting age is lowered you’ll see a huge wave of political shape ups, this is not by no means a good thing necessarily. And as your asking the public who they voted for I’ll tell you my vote. I voted Reform uk, despite reform as a party having a huge stigma regarding racism, I did still vote for Reform. Like every party in the UK there is corruption, scandals and allegations. Such as Tony Blair Labour government and Boris Johnson’s conservative government. You should not be discriminated against for who you voted for just because of a few bad eggs in each political party if that was the case then you’d be she’ll shocked as you will not know who to vote for, as every party has its scandals. I voted Reform because I believe illegal immigration has become a problem for national security, our economy and our NHS. A huge percentage of young people cannot afford a home and if they can afford a home they have a very poor quality of life as there disposable income is closer to 0 than 100. Illegal immigration absolutely is 1 of many reasons if not one of the biggest reasons for economical instability and a failing NHS. Like that first man stated there is people coming to this country for health care then dipping out, they are not paying taxes and are in the same queue as you. I do believe there is good immigration, where there is bad there is good. There is individuals who come to this country with a very specific set of skills, surgeons, dentists or even scientific re searchers. However domestic jobs like cleaners and even skilled trades such as brick layers should be mainly presented to people born in the UK, failure to do so will cause unemployment amongst the youth and young people will have less incentive to pick up a trade or find an ‘ordinary 9-5’ due to the lack of offerings. This view is not racist if there is truth to it. We are a small island we do certainly have a capacity and I believe we are definitely getting close to it, anyone that denies that is lying to themselves. I emphasise with individuals seeking refuge but the UK is not the answer. Everyone here knows this, they just don’t want to discuss it as it is essentially political suicide.
@@DRIFT_CORE 39,000 in one year, let’s account for the previous. I’m not confused what so ever. 1990 57million people in the uk 2024 70 million, 14 million increase in 24 years. Australia 1990 17 million 2025 26 million a 9 million increase in 24 years. Difference? Uk land area 241,930 Km2, Australia land area 7.688 million km², we are a small island we do infact have a capacity, 40 thousand makes an impact. So yeah we need to look at facts
I do somewhat agree, but doing so will cause a smaller minority of voters than we already have 😂. As the majority of voters I have had debates with are proper uneducated.
First guy is just an ill-informed individual. I believe he believes he's genuine and speaking with logic but the biggest flaw is - how does he know the Bulgarian lady in the queue at the NHS hasn't worked and paid tax in England for the last 10 years? How does he know? Why the negative (racist) presumption? And that's what wrong with guys like that. Nuff said.
So you're saying that there have been 0 cases of EU patients in the NHS? no one from the EU countries traveled to England and used the NHS without paying into it. All EU patients in the NHS have been living in England for years and all have paid into the system?
@@azuth20 Not saying all. But I bet the actual data does not reflect the arguments presented by guys who vote reform. But what I will say Is I'd love to know the set of circumstances for the ones who did need the NHS or were sent there from their own country.
Let’s say he has no knowledge of this. Which your right they might be a British tax payer for 10 years or longer! Is what he said true still? Absolutely it is. There is a huge percentage of people using the NHS without contributing to it. I say huge because In this instance anything more than 1% is big.
@@azuth20 I am not denying the facts, I am angry that he singled out one country and had a specific opinion about the Bulgarians. I am a taxpayer like you for the last 22 years and I have to wait for a medical procedures like everybody else.
@@mm1k3y Thank you looks like you are the only one who understood my anger. He has his right of opinion but singling out entire nation is bad, very bad.
Sounds like he has something against Bulgarians. He should be taken to court for that statement. I thig he will sing a different song if the doctor/dentist or the nurse is Bulgarian or his parents are looked after by Bulgarian carer. I don't think he will skip a meal or refuse food (judging by his size)which was picked or packed by a Bulgarian.
Taken to court for what? Are you insane? We have the idea of free speech in this country and you can say whatever you like as long as you aren't inciting violence or supporting a terrorist organization. You clearly have no understanding of the culture that has built this country. Shame on you for calling for the use of lawfare to silence people speaking their mind.
I agree those comments of his came across dick-ish, but someone going to court for "having something against Bulgarians" is an absolute death sentence for free speech. No call to violence was made, ergo these comments are simply to be disregarded and shunned.
He made no statement against Bulgarians, you just heard the word Bulgarian and got your panties in a bunch. It was only an example of an EU member coming into England and using NHS without paying tax in the country. Not sure how you twisted that into a racist comment. Maybe you should be taken to court for insulting him? that's called libel and defamation.
Sounds like? I don’t think me and you heard the same guy talking. He simply used Bulgaria as an example. Not necessarily to offend Bulgarians, if anyone knew the percentage of immigration in this country then you’d know and understand that Bulgarians aren’t the problem. And your comment on should be sent to court is outrageous, you sir to me sound like you are a part of the problem, he was simply expressing his right to free speech, would you expect that to be taken away from him? He didn’t discriminate anyone directly nor say anything out of line.
