My fiancée grew up in Staten Island and pronounces Mario the same way so I honestly hadn't even really registered that you two pronounce it "differently" haha

It’s so funny, I grew up in So Cal but have lived just outside of Philly for 20 years and I just realized that hearing you say his name never sounded odd to me lol. I guess I lost my CA way of hearing and pronouncing things even though I still come back to CA to visit family and friends.

I knew August had Jets fandom in his future but golf - I understand my grandpa tried with me but I became a cart girl on his country club for a summer. I use to get in trouble because my dad would turn me upside down and I would walk on the ceiling and I would also fall asleep on the back of my dad’s motorcycle and my favorite game was to play airplane on the back of my dad’s motorbike as we served back and forth. So a little tossing in the air - is it the worst thing to happen??!!!! 🤣❤️💕

@@RachelRamblesmy cart days were short lived as my grandpa didn’t like how his golf buddies flirted with his granddaughter. Which was ok as my other grandpa was a Doctor and work summer camps and I as spent some time with him at camp. Well round summer activities 😂

Mario’s answer for the fave part of parenthood question was so cute, but I was surprised. I wouldn’t think at that young he’d be engaged with play and silliness like that. I would expect a 6/7 week old to be sleepy/still adjusting to the world and I didn’t think they could see all that well yet to respond to silly faces etc. I’m 22 and not having a baby anytime soon but love learning these development/parenting things for the future.

Coming in from the UK here with our maternity leave and pay 🇬🇧. Ours sounds good, but it's really not. Obviously, it's better than nothing but I agree, we all need better maternity leave and pay. Here's a quick rundown of what I experienced 1 year ago. Brithing parent is entitled to 1 year off work but only paid for 9 months of those 12. Pay is... shit... let's say. 90% of your average weekly earnings (before tax) for the first 6 weeks and then for the remainder 33 weeks you get paid £184.03 a week. works out to about £700 a month... and most of everyone's rent is above that so it goes nowhere. "Father" or another parent only has access to 2 weeks and that is paid at 90% legally but usually businesses pay 100%.

I get 9 months leave paid at 70% of my average salary in the last year. Hubby will only get 3 days off 🥲 I prefer not to say the country but we are in Europe. Keep the videos coming, getting me through pregnancy emotions 🤗
