My classes average DAT score was a 23AA and considering many of my classmates are in the 25AA+ range, it shows UPenn accepts scores below our 23AA average. Kathleen actually got accepted and offered a $10,000/year dean’s scholarship at UPenn with a 20AA!!

Once you get in DAT score is meaningless. To be a successful dentist you need to have great business acumen. So don’t be discouraged if you didn’t get that high of a score. The avg is a 20

Couldn’t agree more! I just wanted to show what resources my classmates used to study for their DAT in addition to showcasing their results. However, once you get in, it’s 100% meaningless.

I used bootcamp so I can only vouch for them. Their tutors, layout, practice questions, and schedule is unmatched in my opinion. The program prepares you extremely well. I’m sure booster might be similar but I’ve heard more good things about bootcamp than booster. Some people use both resources and say they preferred studying with bootcamp. There’s nothing wrong with that! As long as you strengthen the rest of your app, a 20AA is good enough to get in

Hey! I personally studied for 7 weeks and used bootcamp to study, however, most people study for around 10-12 weeks. I scored a 23AA 24TS and honestly believed it was an amazing resource to use. The tutors are engaging, the practice exams prepare you well, and the high-yield notes are a must read before the exam. They also update their program regularly to keep up with the latest trends seen on the DAT. I would highly recommend it! Hi! The DAT is an abbreviation for the Dental Admissions Test. It is an entrance exam similar to the MCAT for med students comprised of science, math, reading, and perceptual ability questions designed to be a measure of your success in dental school. It is one of the most important factors schools take into account when reviewing your application. We have a whole video about it on our channel!
