Good stuff Ellis! I saw a beautiful early 2000s (I believe 2004) Chivas de Guadalajara jersey on a guy walking into the private fan zone at 4:40; would've been a cool choice they're quite rare because it was a jersey with no sponsors on it when Guadalajara got a new owner.

Never heard of Piast Gliwice before? Their stadium looks almost exactly like German 2nd tier club SC Paderborn and was built by the same company. Another interesting fact is that Gliwice is the birthplace of Lukas Podolski, former Arsenal forward and German international, although he decided to play for Górnik Zabrze, a much larger club, when he came back to Poland.

I feel like you'd have better luck with approaching people if you ask them if they want a quick interview and just throw in some small talk questions like Messi or Ronaldo etc. just to get them engaged and then ask about swapping shirts.

Next time try with the shirt on, you'll get so much more! When you take the shirts selected in this way, the guy who has his pet shirt sees that yours are not as important as his. here's the tip! Any Argentinian would've accepted the offer cuz here Jersey are freaking expensive).. Maybe they thought you were going to charge for the shirts or something like that.. I understand why people dont wanna swap shirts. If I attended a WC game, I'd wear one of my favourite shirts (iron maiden x west ham, 1 fc köln international jersey this season or new balance x aries for roma) and will not swap it for anything that's not very special. Not everyone goes to Qatar with a ton of shirts :D

While I'm in no way a Comunicaciones person (Municipal all the way 😁) it would have made an interesting trade. Next time, maybe try talking to them, interview style for a little while THEN ask about swapping shirts. Also, wear the shirt you are wanting to swap. This way the person doesn't feel like you are just taking their shirt for a random one in a bag.. it would feel like actually swapping.

With only 2 days left of the World Cup, you want this video to hit 3k likes so you can then do another video (which you haven’t recorded yet 😉) where you then buy strangers shirts at the World Cup? Seems highly unlikely that you’ll find many people technically at the 3rd place play-off or the final that would be willing to sell you their shirts (unless you are willing to offer silly money, which lets be honest, you don’t do😂).
