What a talent! Very good interpretation!! Last night I saw and heard Asmik for the first time as Tatjana ( E.Onegin) in the Berlin Opera house. The whole audience was absolutely enthusiastic, I was touched to tears. She really is a great singer, an outstanding musician, and a fantastic actress with lots of passion. By the way: the whole performance was overwhelming and extremely intense.

This not good. Voice is too small for spinto roles. She also lacks a necessary proper chestvoice. And there are constrictions to the production of her tone. Sorry the hype around her is really just a hype...

So good that the world's got you...explaining us how voices have to sound like...But: Opera is not just a theory written in books about it: it is life and live! Sitting in an audience hall is much more impressive than writing comments on youtube.
