Even if your not into WOW their unique comedic relationship is worth the watch. Asmon can attribute the majority of his success to their dynamic together. It is pure gold. Sometimes two people just compliment eachother's personality and together become an unstoppable force. Asmon knows this and it is why he keeps him around. They need eachother.

I only just got into these videos after classic released and Im still not sure I get the whole streamer thing...but I have real, unironical love for the bullshittery and banter between mcconnell and asmongold, especially during guild drama. Mcconnell is this weird kevin james persona in the background shouting stuff like KICK THIS DUDE or THATS BULLSHIT. And its hilarious.

i think what got into the both of them was selfishness and disagreements of what was for the best. i think they put too much focus on guild business and little focus on their friendship. Asmon admit himself the guild grew too fast without much control over it. and the stress of dealing over evrything just got the better of them. i think one of the bigger problems in this situation was Asmon and McConnell sharing one guild together when there was many sister guilds where McConnell easy could have been a solo gm. and correct me if i am wrong about that. but i think McConnell felt alittle left out like his voice on the matter didn have any weights regarding anything. if Asmon was solo gm over olympous, and McConnel was solo gm over olympous 2 for instance, they may have disagreements yet, do things together, but still it wouldn be a matter of conflict going in the way with eachothers desires and they could still be best friends at the end of the day. because what is going on between them now.. may be frustrating. but at the end of the day its no big deal. bitching and complaining about games is no diffrent then kids bitching and complaining about sweets they want. and if their friendship end over this shit, then both of them didn have the best friendship with eachother from the very beginning even tho it may have been alot of fun... this is just sad.
