I am not saying these are high IQ people, but most of them at the protest actually make good points. When children who have no need to be vaccinated are being vaccinated with tax payer money, you know someone made a backdoor deal somewhere. Always follow the money. People used to attack 'big pharma' all the time for corrupt and greedy practices, yet here we have the biggest example of big pharma corruption in the history of the world, and no one bats an eye. It would be an easy fix, stop voting Democrat! I had no idea that Democrat ruled states were so messed up till recently. You don't see shit, all over the U.S., like you do in Cali and NYC, Chicago, all those places Democrats run. They have destroyed people in their cities yet the people keep voting for them over and over and over. I don't see how people don't see this as being the problem. Always look to who is making the policy and if that policy doesn't make shit better (which it isn't) time to vote different.

3:00 it also gives them something to blame. Its easier to blame an imaginary enemy for everything wrong with your life than to admit to yourself that its all a combination of bad luck, bad choices and bad mental health. An enemy that you can "deafeat" and magically fix everything that troubles you. Or simply to give them an excuse to feel sorry for themselves.
Feels like that one skit video a guy did on YT about someone sacrificing their entire army to kill the enemy general dragon, then coming back and saying "we killed the dragon so even though literally our entire army is dead we win" only to get ripped apart by an advisor reminding him that enemy armies don't just stop if the general dies.

I think Asmon is insightful when he talks about why people fall into conspiracy rabbit-holes. Conspiracy theory communities are addicting because they create a feeling of being a protagonist in a world that’s just good vs. evil. So, for people who feel like their lives aren’t in their own hands anymore, that false sense of agency is appealing.
That good vs evil relation is spot on! Hadn't thought of about that Although such experiments like MK ultra, which was real, can make you question the government even more and lead you further, you could maybe call that and 9/11 gateway conspiracy therories? idk
Except people like Alex Jones keep getting proven correct, and the fact that people's lives aren't in their own hands is evil. No one should want, nor trust the government to take care of them.
@@Hatoreus when you say a bunch of shit without filter, you are surely going to be correct on occasion. People should do their own research and not just listen to shit people say like it's gospel.
The whole "systemic racism and systemic patriarchy" thing makes me feel the same as these america loving anti mandaters. Conspiracy, propaganda, indoctrination, brainwashing happens on both sides just as bad.
It's easy to fall into Absolutes. Just remember that most people who understand a subject and could be considered experts have room for doubts and know when they don't know something. If they're honest enough, they'll admit it too. People who think they're experts will usually never admit knowing less or nothing at all. They cling to Absolutes. They don't know just how little they know. Ignorant of their ignorance. They take no measures to understand the other perspectives. They mock others for "buying into the lies" or "being afraid of the truth". A lot of conspiracy theorists feel themselves superior to doctors, researchers, and other experts who probably spent enormous amounts of time and money to actually experiment in and learn the subject matter. While they spent spent maybe a minor percentage of that on media sites and forums then self-proclaim their experience as being equivalent. It's kind of mind blowing just how conflated people's egos can be. I wish I had that level of confidence in any subject matter. Maybe then I'd never be wrong as well.
He pardoned much more than that, he pardoned war criminals who slaughtered a bunch of innocent civilians. @@VAFranky You say that but "trans" is literally saying people should not accept how they're born and need to undergo drastic changes to conform to their chosen gender stereotypes. To me this is no different than a crazy bible thumping parent trying to change their gay child with abuse or drugs. I can accept that someone is born gay and doesn't need to change to "be manlier" and "become straight". So I do not agree with the idea that someone was "born the wrong gender" and needs to undergo extreme traumatic chemical and surgical treatments to "become another gender". These are completely conflicting beliefs, conflated together only by a shared martyrdom, and my proposed solution would be the same as it ever has been: to encourage people to accept how they're born and that they do not need to change to conform to society's stereotypes. You say it has no impact on others. I say the trans suicide rate would disagree, and is a direct product of overwhelming social pressures toward "trans" people to NOT accept themselves, NOT be happy with their bodies, and to need to undergo extreme change to "become what they're supposed to be".
@@VAFranky "as long as they aren't hurting themselves" I really need to emphasize the surgical and chemical trauma and suicide rate. Martyr delusion wants to blame external forces for an internal problem that plagues no other group, and yes other groups have hardships in life, to the same extent. It's like when your entire "culture" is built around not accepting how you were born and self-loathing, you end up with all the predictable an expected problems one incurs with said self-loathing. As expected though, you dodged the contradiction with how every other group in the world is expected to be treated, and went right back to martyr and blaming others. I treat all people the same, which is to respect how people were born and to not demand they undergo drastic change to conform to gender stereotypes. There is only 1 group for which this is suddenly "anti-group" behavior, and that group also has something like 4x or 5x the suicide rate of other groups.

The psychological behavior we are seeing here is called Self-Deception and Selective Information, go read about it and you'll understand how dangerous this really can be. Its a common psychological behavior we all experience now and then, the issue is when it becomes the normal way of seeking information and how you think about everything in your life. We really need to implement Psychology as a main subject throughout school, because this will just become more and more common. This is the perfect psychological behavior for politicians, companies, media, other countires etc to trigger/encourage. Once Self-Deception and Selective Information becomes the new normal to someone, they dont need to do anything else because people will simply make that new way of thinking stronger and more common by feeding themself the information they want to hear and are told to trust. This is actually scarier than what most people realize and I hate it. Edit: Let me give you an example, if you search "Marijuana related deaths" you will find articles about people dying when scrolling down, if parents was strictly seeking and searching those sentences they would think its common and a really dangerous substance. To them everyone else is either lying, defending their druguse or heavily addicted. However you have probably heard people say Cannabis is not addictive, have no risks or even "Cannabis is not a drug, its a plant". Those people only seek positive information about the substance (Selective Information) and truely believe addiction (its not physically addictive but can become mentally), side effects, withdrawals etc are impossible to occur. Those who think its dangerous and deadly will fight to keep it banned and jail users, but those who think it has no negatives can cause issues by sharing false information to other new and uneducated users. This is why Selective Informaton and Self-Deception is dangerous.
@@cattysplat Dont understand anything about the subject? Then it must be lies. Dont agree? Must be lies. Dont like how it affect your emotions? Must be lies. @@holy0damn Yes and thankfully our schools in my country focused heavily on educating about it and gave us projects to work on. For example they let us choose a news article to study by looking up sources and read about them, compare it to other articles to see if it makes sense and then share what we learned. However critical thinking is not enough if you avoid and dont trust other sources, to them its like saying 1+1 is 3. The behavior is not something you easily recognize/notice without having been taught about the thought patterns/process and perspectives.
Now Robin, put everything you just said into the context of a virus with a >99% survival rate even including the 70-95% rate of several comorbidities accompanying an average age of 80+. Personally, I like math and ultra specific and transparent data. And I've seen literally none of that for over 2 years. To me, that means affirmative data simply does not exist. It would be the most expeditious way to address skepticism and hesitancy. Instead we get vague empty platitudes, and constantly moving goalposts as reality fails to align with the ever changing claims regarding risk, efficacy, and safety. "Conspiracy theories" just end up being future confirmed headlines time and again. At some point, basic pattern recognition should set it and encourage very harsh skepticism toward chronic liars and to give the benefit of the doubt to anyone skeptical of those liars as well. Give me hard specific data which can be independently verified. Don't make obviously fake "99%" claims and offer a burger for a shot.
