It stretched from the Western areas now known as Tirisfal Glades and Silverpine Forest to the Eastern areas now known as WPL and EPL. Stratholme was on the Northern Border of the kingdom. Quel'thalas is what would now be known as Quel'thalas and the Ghostlands. Completely separate from Lordaeron.

According to it the name comes from the three main Alliance race languages: "lorn" which means means "land" in Dwarven, "daer" which is Common for "people", and "ronae" that translates to "peaceful" from Thallasian

4:55 i love this moment. the smile on Varok face and the outburst of Sylvanas is the moment when Varok knows he won the purpose of the duel, and Sylvanas realizing that she lost when she fell into his trap. As a true war veteran, Varok knew allready he couldn't win in combat agaisnt her. so he defeated her with words. The purpose of the Mak'Gora wasnt to kill Sylvanas, it was to free the Horde from her grasp.

Best thing about it is he showed his men (who swore to die 'for him') that he was also willing to die 'for them...' Like a true Boss And that he valued their lives above glory, and wouldn't send them to fight their own brothers before he committed himself to Mak'Gora. Just like how SS Officers 'had' to be 'the first' to step forwards into battle, to set the example. Unlike most who lead from behind...

She isnt Garrosh, in any way. Garrosh still was honorable, and cared about the horde. Is she evil tho? Yes. Is it for a reason? I believe so , because forsaken/undead was the only thing she cared for since Wotlk. She broke the cycle of hatred in the end tho, let´s hope it lasts.

@@Nexuzlord117 Thrall used magic against Garrosh and Doomhammer became astranged to him, a Mak'gora is sacred, its skill vs skill, weapon allowed if both agree but beside that, nothing else, its an orcish tradition, shaman can use magic so long as the killing blow doesnt come from it, gul'dan and sylvanas both used their magic to finish their foes in a Mak'gora..thats the cheating and show your lack of knowledge in lore

There were several references to quotes of past cinematics: -Sylvanas going "old soldier" was 2 fold, the cinematic named old soldier, and it was a reference to when gen took her chance at immortality from the valkyr she called him "old wolf" with the same manner of voice. -"you cannot kill hope" was what the night elf said to sylvanas before she burned teldrassil. -"let it be finished" as was said at the wrathgate. -"we don't get to hide" from the reunion with thrall cinematic.

And that was the point of Saurfang's rant while slicing at her, that despite her efforts and cockiness, she keeps failing. Stuff this detailed takes a RIDICULOUS amount of work to make. A full movie of this would be like triple the time and budget of even the biggest animated films. I would love to see way more cutscenes in wow, but sadly making them all in this style would be an almost impossible feat. More like this, sure. But there's no way they can all be this quality.

Tbh from the beginning I didnt rly like her. She was overrated and edgy af. Only boys chose her as their favourite character. True man stood behind Andiun since Vanilla, since he was a kiddo back then and our characters grew up with him up to the point where he became the Highking and we his Champion. She didn't use her magic in the beginning because she was absolutely certain of her victory. But Saurfang was about something else. He told Anduin during their meeting in the dungeon of Stormwind. He said "What I want is my horde back!" He knew that he would not be able to win by force of arms, but he could use her ego to achieve his real goal. It worked. In her anger, Sylvanas revealed how she really thought about the horde. When she realized that the old orc warrior had outwitted her, she struck back in the only way she had left. With the death of Varok Saurfang.

Balled my eyes out every time I have seen this. Saurfang is a hero. A legend. One the horde very much needed. And one I would have followed to hell and back. Saurfang is the Horde. Sylvanas is nothing but a blight upon the world and upon the Horde. I hope she gets everything that is coming to her and then some. She is no better then the Burning Legion or the Lich King.
