3:20 "I had to spawn camp these people because I needed my 'honorable' kills" that sentence just sounds hilarious. Such honorable battles they were. Haha
I love him talking about behaving like a decent person and encouraging your group to succeed after you encounter problems is such a shocking concept to wow players. This is literally true in all of life. Military, business, social relationships, etc. If someone made an *honest* mistake, the worst thing you can do is complain and put them down. In truth, even if they are struggling, it could be worth while to help them to succeed. A month or two later, you could be looking at a valuable teammate.
As a mage, if someone tags my mob as a frostbolt is traveling for example, I'll freeze the mob, poly it, and force the other guy to kill it, or wait indefinitely as I keep ccing it. It's not mine, I'm not killing it for you.
I have a friend who used to play WoW, and he was everything from the list except gold begger and Dicktaker... But, he would expand this list by atleast 15-20 items... Once i leveled on a same realm he had a rogue in oposite faction. He used to ask me where i am going, what i am doing and stuff. We spent time on Ventrilo when we would play the game. And he went in front of me and killed every single NPC i needed. Like quest givers, vendors, flight masters... I was so damn frustrated, couldnt realise he did it... Was like, wtf is going on...
19:00 - I had a situation where I was starting another Orc or Troll character (I can't remember which or why, but it was probably during my "find a server/class" phase), and there is a quest in the Valley of Trials to kill a named scorpid. I had run this a few times before, so largely knew what to expect, but this time it had a focus bar. I thought this was odd, but there was a recent patch, so I thought he was updated to have one for some reason. Nope, it was a Night Elf Hunter who tamed it (which gave it the new focus bar), and then Shadow-melded waiting for someone to come and flag themselves (on a non-PvP server) on it so they could shoot the unobservant while they were still figuring out what happened and while they were too low to do anything about it. Needless to say, after my corpse run, I double checked to make sure there is no focus bar on him before engaging him. I have done this every time I've run a new character through the Valley from that point on.
@@biohazerdtrollztrolls4798 Asmongold is a character. He isn't here to tell his life, he is here to make ya laugh. He isn't lying, he is animating his stream. That's why he is so successful and have 30k views without being good at the game while venruki or cdew can't get more than 1k viewers.
@@biohazerdtrollztrolls4798 Check out "Zack Rawr" on YT or even Esfand stream when he's playing with Asmon (out of stream), you'll see Zack, not Asmongold. But if you are type of guy that think that Tyler1 and DrDisrespect aren't characters, you are delusional.
12:14 When I'm on my tank toons - I expect the dps to not be using taunts and not be attacking things I haven't attacked yet. When I'm tanking, I have a counter - three strikes and I'm out. "Him that face rolls shalt wait in the queue." I also put people on ignore if they're being a dick - having someone on your ignore list means you won't get grouped with them through lfg/lfr. I tell other tanks about this too, so that they don't have to put up with dbag players. If you're a DPS and it's taking half an hour for you to queue - it's because multiple tanks have you on ignore.
6:40 Warlock here, I have this happen to me all the time. I just pop a fear on the thing and run away, it will eventually go back onto the tagger with extras that the feared one aggro'd, if the lock isn't a complete dumb dumb I wouldn't recommend what asmon said.
i remember fighting over an ore node back in cata. this dwarf pally and i fought for fucking ever. i finally kill him and some tauren druid comes down and snatches up the ore i just had a battle to the death over. lol
In response to the mob tagging a warlocks target. When someone does that to me, I just fear it and walk away until it leashes or the other guy is forced to kill it. Then i'll follow that guy around for a few mins chain fearing any mob he attacks, which will pull other mobs onto him because he has aggro on that mob. Edit: Also you can totally banish other peoples mobs in classic as of this moment. :D
@@JTheraos I find a lot of different opinions about which consumables are allowed, even whether health pots are fine or not, so saying health pots are objectively bad I think is horse snot.
I had a gold beggar character named Copperpocket just for the lols. I'd do all manner of goofy things in exchange for copper and only copper, the people I was begging to didn't have to actually pay me and an emote of giving a few coins was good enough. A couple friends of mine did the same thing, doing goofy lil things for something silly in exchange like junk items either actually given or emoted. If I remember correctly my character made five gold in the span of a week even though I made sure everyone knew they didn't actually have to pay me. Some lowbies would pay too which was surprising.
It's kind of a shitty feeling when you're swarmed with mobs and nearly die (or you just die). And someone comes, doesn't even think to help out. But instead loots the chest really peacefully. It says a lot about how people behave in daily life as well. It happened to me just yesterday lol.
5:40 I honestly believe there should be no profession related things inside dungeons, IE skinning, mining, herbing. They create tension in a group that has multiple people that do the things, and slow down those that don't. We came to a dungeon to do a dungeon, not rank up your professions.
This sounds like a bad idea honestly. It's nice to have that interactivity, and the content feels more connected and relevant with profession opportunities in dungeons.
dude im new and as soon as i join faerlina i got invited to olympus 6 and its super deteriorated. all level 1s who were invited to not make it look empty
No issue with health pots in a duel, since both sides can use it. Also it's more realistic to as well, since in wpvp an enemy player can and will use health pots and BGs people use pots in there as well. So I always find it stupid that some losers get salty about someone using a health pot when it's unrealistic compared to real pvp. Now in a retail duel, it can make since, due to arenas. since health pots cant be used in arenas, so the duel is to practice for arenas and test arena skill, but in Classic, arenas dont exist so due to this fact, health pots are 100% ok in my book.
19:28 - I think too harsh to get banned for ganking low lvls. However, I do think Blizzard should have implemented a honour/dishonour system, where if you gank people that are lower level than you, you would instead lose honour at a 20x rate, once you reach 0 honour, you would start getting negative honour (dishonour). The bigger the negative, would start to affect your reputations with your factions, where at some point you'd be exiled from all areas (meaning all NPCs friendly or neutral would turn red).
if Im on a pvp server, and decide to level in tanaris, I expect 100% of the time that I will die within the first 10 seconds I get to the flight master. I also expect the flight master to be dead when I arrive. I know what im getting into when I go there. Now, i'm patient, I expect to die a dozen time minimum when im in tanaris, and usually save gold for when I WILL need to repair my gear when I get there.
funny part is , the guy who got banned for camping 24 hours all days all time blizzard made him big favor actually and gives him new life to go out and abandon the game for good of his own will lol
Donno why he thinks Flight Master ganking is a part of the game that isn’t toxic as hell. With Classic’s minimal movement options, killing the flight masters in certain areas just wastes other people’s time, and you’re kind of sad for doing so. There’s no benefit to you besides making things worse for others, and if that’s what you define as fun, thats something you should talk to a professional about if you’re a grown adult
I remember I got kicked from a dungeon on 14 for my iLevel not being high enough for the tank. Granted it was 1 point and the ring that dropped in that dungeon would've shot me up to being 10 iL above where I was and the ring was basically guaranteed
I have had it happen so many times were i fight my ass off to get a chest, and a second before im ready to go get it, some ass steals it. Because of how many times its upset me, i have always respected other players in the same situation. If more people thought the same way, Mmo s would be much more enjoyable and people would get along better, and the world of rpg mmo s would become a much better place. Even 5 minutes after i get ripped off, i still think about others and respect them. Its not fair to go steal from someone else just because some gerk just ripped me off, not everyone is an ass and you make more friends by sharing and respecting other players. Give up a loot chest to make a friend is 100% worth it to me. People remember names and doing ignorant things may give you a bad reputation and stop you from making friends or even keeping or getting a guild, and possibly prevent you from attending raids you can not solo to obtain top end gear. Sharing can lead into getting alot better loot (most chests have junk anyways, even in high areas lmao)
Or when the tank in a dungeon finder tries to kick someone from a group over their spec. Even though the tank wasnt geared right and had to be over healed to stay alive
There is a point when a player isn't performing well in the raid and you keep telling him to fallow instruction and he keeps failing and not caring. Thats when i will get pissed and not want to ever team up with that individual. EVER! If that person don't want to learn and keep doing the same mistake over and over again that person isn't met for raid.
Isn't it the best when a WoW icon just advocates for people stealing and being generally shitty to other people. It's almost like his audience will follow through and do exactly that (Doesn't want people to pot in duels, but hey ninja some items? that's fine)
9:05 tip. If party with ppl you know well enough either irl or meet online and hang good amount do this. If in an area with few other ppl that’s doing quests and encounter chest with you and other party or solo player see it do this. Quickly tell party to roll for loot. Who ever gets highest leaves party but stay close so bystanders think that person is still with you. Then you and 3 other members fight mob, one that got Hugh roll and left goes straight to chest and loot. It works 75% of the time as long A. The person left makes sure doesn’t make any threat on mobs or B. Somehow others figure that out and they attempt to dash for it or they pull other mobs to you guys to prevent loot chest which happened 3 times since second week of classic. Of course make sure you whisper to each other so other party groups/bystanders won’t know wth you guys planning unless they picked up the quiet/idle pattern your planning something on chest and mob.
What warlock doesn’t send the void-walker to Argo before you start dot’ing... If you dot first, void-walker later, the you deserve the mob hits your goner take as a result.
Oh man I remember being 13 in vanilla just sitting in Goldshire on my undead rogue killing low levels all day. Being a child I never did understand why I never got honor thinking I was farming the whole time 😂
I was aoe farming on my mage but there was so many other mages always coming to same area and slowing my leveling process. So I'd mount up and drag mobs into their aoe and make them reset or die
I sold a shield that dropped from Eastern plague lands with the stormwind emblem on it for 125g. 2 days later the guy that bought it sent me another 250g cause he found out it was worth more. This was in the past few weeks. There are some good people in the game.
If you are an okc fan imagine the pain felt by having kd snake the team and multiply it by infinity when its the team snaking the entire city and you will know how it felt
9:20 whenever I see someone approaching the chest I just stop whatever I'm doing and run away from the agro. Even if I end up dying, I'm not giving this person the free loot.
Not going to lie, I was guilty of swooping in and snatching a chest in that way. Whenever someone did it to me, I’d be disappointed in not getting it first but never really got mad over it. It’s an open world and to the swiftest goes the loot in a lot of cases. Plus it’s just not worth getting angry on a game, especially over a chest which most likely had vender trash and green items.
Doing infinite dimensional linear algebra to clear my way to a chest, before respawns show up, and some guy walks up and gets it without fighting anything.
Asmongold: I used to hold people hostage and farm kills on them for upwards of 2 hours using a method that was later fixed due to how broken it was and I'm fine with that. Also Asmongold: You should get reported for using strategic terrain positioning as a ranged class to stay away from melee classes
meh about the last point i would disagree since majority of people will really want money and no one would spend hours just to get 1-2 gold begging people unless they need it lol , i remember back in WOLK expansion me and my friend needed flying mount to lvl up faster so we go in city keep collect gold from people we put our money together and divide the gold until we have enough gold to buy flying mount , it was amazing good old days lol
4:20 "Idk how you guys feel about it but in my opinion if you're going out of your way to, especially using terrain to your advantage to make it to where people cant get to you, I feel like that's terrain exploitation and it's griefing and it should be against the TOS and you should get suspended for it 100%" ... So, like hugging pillars in BFA arena? Yep I agree, ban them all
Dude ur channel is called daily dose.. so many uploads im suffering massive asmongod overdoses additional to my brain diarreah. Big asmongasms to u sir
20:15 - I'm the opposite of that. Whenever I make a new character and some high level person offers me gold I just refuse the trade and get slightly annoyed by their arrogance. "What so you think I am? A charity case?"... I prefer making my own gold trading in the action house. I am a prideful dick irl and I roleplay as one in WoW too. I just don't accept charity.
What kind of terrible duelers don't use consumables? Come prepared or gtfo. Scrubs. Also if your pug leader sucks... call'em out on it, and let the whole server know. It's his fault for sucking.
Recognizing duality..this kind of thinking is what makes Assy so based. If we were all forced to be good, this game would be bland land supreme. There must be bad for there to be good
Asmongold sounds like the biggest hypocrite because he did literally everything on this list and proceeds to deny and admit that he did it for every single part of the list.
I remember the Classic Days in 2006 where i seen a Bot Hunter whos getting down the Dragons an skinnend them ... after a Short time I cast a Firebolt at the Right Time on them so he Kills the Mobs for me an i get the Loot and the Skins of the Drakes .... I do It for so long he get 3 Adds and Died - He has no automaticly Go back to Graveyard and Respawn.
