My neighbor in Brazil used to sell Avon back in 2010s. My grandma and I would circle our orders on the pamphlet and a few weeks later our neighbor would deliver incorrect items without fail. It was a game of “what will she bring this time?” 🤣 Thank you for bringing such good memories.

I watched the movie "The Age of Adeline" recently and now my headcanon is that the same thing happened to Susan, she's been a 30 year old Avon rep since the 1930s

Thank you for your videos. My great grandmother sold Avon until she was in her 90s. Her mother sold when Avon was the California Perfume Company. I remember her going to conventions in the 80s because she was always a top seller. She passed in 2004 and your videos help me feel close to her.

I remember the days when my mom had a “beauty case” that she used to take on the plane. It contained all her skincare, makeup, perfume and such. I also recall when people would use to dress business chique when flying. It’s so surreal how much things have changed. Best thing tho: being able to watch movies on your own personal screen on the plane. I do miss some of the classiness tho, as impractical as it may have been.

I miss Avon! My cousin used to sell it and my mom would let me pick their bodywashes. Skin so soft the pink and the cucumber melon was my favorite! I used to get to so excited to go through the little book lol ❤❤❤.

When I was in school I had a classmate whos aunt was an Avon saleswoman and who would try to help her aunt get some sales. Maybe the aunt even gave her some % of the money she made, I never asked. But that girl would always take some of the other girls to the side on lunch break and go through the catalog with her, pointing out products that would suit them. Sitting there with her was one of the few times I had experienced ASMR before I even knew what it was, so I made sure to always buy a little something, so that she would take me aside again when she had a new catalog to show. :D
