My grandma met her neighborhood's door-to-door Avon saleslady back in the 70s also, when the lady first visited Grandma's home to sell her makeup and perfume. They became friends. Her name was Dorothy. Grandma and Dorothy remained friends for the rest of Dorothy's life. She always invited Dorothy and her family over for holiday parties, always bought her perfumes and makeup from her, and always had her Avon catalogues sitting on the coffee table. We called family friends "aunt" or "uncle" growing up, that's how tight-knit everyone was. So she was "Aunt" Dorothy to us. My grandma just passed away a year ago, joining all her friends and family who went before her. Which would have included Dorothy. I bet Dorothy gave her the best makeup job when she got there. I still have my grandparents' Avon 1970s exclusive perfume and musk bottles that are glass-blown into shapes and still contain perfume. My grandpa's was a pheasant. My grandma's was a canary. And the pheasant and canary are side by side in my China cabinet.

Yes, just WAIT until you see her AVON lady playlist.....she is an AVON lady from the 1930's going all the way to the early 2000's, some eras have two videos devoted to them. The amount of time specific or vintage products and props that she uses is going to blow your mind utterly.

i just love the attention to detail in all these roleplays - the fact that each decade is really expressed through your hairstyles, clothes, the backgrounds, and of course the vintage props. it’s so complete and feels so authentic in a way that lets you totally get immersed. i love seeing the evolution of packaging styles and trends and how you change the way you talk about the products based on the era. great stuff!! ❤

I know this look is supposed to be caricature of the decade but I swear on my momma you have never looked as gorgeous in a video as you do in this. It’s like your face was carved by the gods of retro beauty. Your eyes are popping out of my screen hypnotizing me. Your cheekbones are beyond gorgeous and your hair (even if it were a wig) graces around and behind your face is the most fashionable and cool way 😅❤❤❤ I wish we could see these trends have a comeback, nowadays pretty much everyone looks the same while looks like this have so much personality, fun and charm. I’m only 27 but my momma raised me well so as she was talking about what a woman is, I started singing ‘Helen Reddy’s - I am Woman’ which funny enough is from the 70’s so this was fun to watch. I really love that you mentioned stuff like Farrah Fawcett and Tupperware. My mom managed to keep a huge orange pitcher from Tupperware and we still use it for sweet tea to this day. They don’t make them like that anymore so it’s cool we have one. I can’t wait to share this with my mom.
