As long as the lemon trees grow was so beautiful and hard breaking. I almost DNF’d it because it was so heavy and sad. And then I realized how privileged I am to be able to read about experiences in a 3rd world country instead of experiencing it. Truly eye opening and important to read. I’m so glad I finished it.
Not a big ready in books anymore I used to read a book every week I need to get back into the positive habit again soon thank you for sharing your thoughts ideas and passion in life appreciate you!❤
I'm currently in the middle of the chestnut springs series and I'm absolutely loving it. The last book, Hopeless, comes out in October. It's Beau and Bailey's story and I'm so excited 😍
thank you for your asmr videos! i think you might enjoy “The invisible life of Addie LaRue”. it’s a magical realism based on Goethe’s Faust concept. also, it’s beautifully written and has autumn vibes 💖
fleur your whisper is so fantastic, i just love it! love hearing your thoughts on books (if you're having fun with mass paperback style romance series, i've gotta recommend cat sebastian's books, especially the ruin of a rake), but you could really whisper about anything and i'd eat it up
I also read ACOTAR this month! I didn't know much about it but I surprisingly became obsessed and finished it in two days. Now I'm on ACOMAF and even more pleasantly surprised. It's definitely very long but there's so much detail. Also - definitely agree about Feyre and Tamlin's relationship.
Fleur PLEASE read Spinning Silver. I would not recommend a book lightly, but I think it’s right up your alley after watching everyone one of your videos since you’ve started. It is fantasy/romance with Fae like the last 2 series you’ve tried, but has a powerful & intelligent female lead and touches heavily on anti-Semitism and Jewish identity, both things I feel you would appreciate!
my fav fav fav book girlie, i literally take your reviews with SOOO much weight like i trust them so much, started the Cruel Prince series bc of you and i’m absolutely loving it🤌🏼🤌🏼 you make my tbr growwww and i adore it
i also read as long as the lemon trees grow this month and started crying page 18 onwards. did not stop sobbing until about 30 minutes after i finished the book😭
I wasn’t a big fan of acotar either. I got almost halfway through acowar and couldn’t finish if. However I also somehow wasn’t able to solve the riddle in book 1. I was like “I feel like I should know this”😂
Hey Fleur! I just finished reading Lessons in chemistry and it is my new fav book🥹 I haven’t had a new fav book in 6y so it’s a pretty big deal to me lol I think you would really like it aswell😊 Ik zal as long as the lemons trees grow asap moeten lezen die ligt al een tijdje op mn boekenkast te wachten op me so I’m very excited now I know that you liked it🙌🏻
fleur if you liked “as long as the lemon trees grow,” i think you’d like “what strange paradise” by omar el akkad. it’s a very similar story in terms of the struggles of being an immigrant and needing to flee from one’s home country!
If you like romance book I would highly recommend the summer I turned pretty series, and I actully just bought a new book called the icebreaker and I’m so excited it read it.
The thing about ACOTAR for people who typically like the genre but don't like the book... is that the dislike of this book is SO valid and you'll get that validation only if you continue
Recently read Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score, Twisted Love by Ana Huang & currently reading Haunting Adeline. Eek, it’s full on 😅 loved the recent 2 though!
I have a request, while you are talking about books can you say something about the language of that book because mostly it's hard to read many of them if you are trying to learn English and trying read them in English. many many love💓
Hi Fleur, I really like your videos, they’re very relaxing and entertaining and we’re about the same age which is nice! :) Because you say you’ve been reading more romance novels lately I was wondering if you’d heard of „Act your age - Eve Brown“? Forgot the authors name actually oops. I just got back into reading (actually books and not fanfiction) and my mum actually read that book but she didn’t finish it and so I picked it up and tried reading it but I’m not sure I’ll finish it either because it’s so uncomfortable to read at times. It’s nothing bad, the main characters just thirst over each other like all the time but it’s just so ehhhh and ugghhh I don’t know. I quite enjoy the parts where they banter and we learn about their backgrounds but then he’s looking and thinking abt her boobs and she’s looking at his abs and his crotch and it is so so uncomfortable 😭😭 (and it’s not that i don’t like reading spicy things or anything but it just seems so inappropriate in this book idkkk) So yea if you haven’t heard of the book then I am very happy for you and I wouldn’t not really recommend:‘) Hope you have a lovely day, Fleur!!
Silver Flames would probably be less annoying for you bc Nesta’s the main character and she’s far less annoying and dumb than Feyre I completely understand where ur coming from 😭
I could not standddd ACOTAR!! I knew that Tamlin was not the forever love by the end of the first book but the way we are supposed to thirst for Rhys when the whole beginning to their relationship is sooo toxic and abusive?? I was like …okay sure. Or I could read literally anything else. Also that riddle - 😂💀 PLEASE. … I am so sorry to be such a hater in the comments lmao, I have no judgment for anyone who loves it at all, I love fantasy & romance, ACOTAR just wasn’t it for me.
@@ASMRfleur can you do a finger snapping video series with painted nails, as hand visuals, slow tempo snaps with no talking, like this video, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FWrs-65_Kqg.html
Hi, congratulations for your reviews. I have always followed your advice. I was really struck by the beauty of "Motion Detection", a thriller book that I found by chance on Amz while looking for a book by Freida McFadden. The cover intrigued me, it's an unusual book with a spectacular ending, I highly recommend it
if you’re going for extremely reckless unhinged female mc acotar probably isn’t for you. personally i have such a soft spot for feyre and could often resonate with her
I hated tamlin and fayre in acotar, they where both so annoying and frustrating. I somehow still ended up liking the book but when I picked up acomaf I wasn’t ready for how much I would love with the story and Rhys 🥹🤭 you should give it a shot but no pressure 🫶🏼 I haven’ read the rest but safe to say acomaf took me by surprise
Ahhhh so curious now! I’m doing it!!! I just KNEW when Rhys came along in acotar something would be up so I’m powering through (i’ve never had a more toxic relationship to a book than to acomaf tho wow lmao)
@@ASMRfleur omg good luck 🫶🏼 totally get it I was having the same internal struggle lol and YESS I knew Rhys would be popping up causing drama, and I just loved seeing Tamlin suffer.. I don’t know if that’s healthy but I really could not stand him in this book 😅🚩
