Somebody really loved and treasured those shoes. They wore them until they were unwearable then had them restored to keep wearing them. Can't wait to get my own paid of GG one day.

I think this is the first video where she cleans the right shoe instead of the left! (I think she always cleans the left shoe because she’s left-handed.) Must have changed it up this video so we could see her scrape all that gunk off the bottom of the shoe. Much appreciated!
What I did learn with VeTiVeR: rich people doesn't like to clean their own shoes. Because 70% of the restoration's work is give the shoe a proper cleaning.
For being so well worn, those treads are in remarkably good shape... mine are worn flat after just six months! Ooop, just saw the heel... someone puts all their weight onto their heels!!
it always bugs me how the new heel is a bit higher than the rest of the sole. i imagine walking in them would be rough. the good news is the more you wore them the better they'd get 😂
Lol. Golden Goose actually says on their website they "infuse their shoes with scratches" to mimic having been used/traveled/have "memories" and rich people pay over $500 for them looking beat-up.... and this dude just cleaned them up and essentially created "new" shoes rich people won't buy now!
@@vaderladyl -- There was nothing in the video to indicate it was a customer request. Other videos show him going to vintage/thrift stores and buying items to "restore". I think it's very likely they did not know what Golden Goose shoe brand is about.
@@colleendekoning3926 I had been watching since the beginning and he stated on the comments that he is a professional cobbler and the shoes he gets are from customers. Not his to restore and sell. This case is no different. You are confusing this guy with another.
@@colleendekoning3926 I've never seen any video of him going to a thrift store.! These are ASMR videos and they only show him doing his jobs at the shop so they can record the sounds!
