@@SpyiTheBlaze College, like most things in life, can and will cause stress but knowing how to best handle it and prevent it whenever possible helps a lot! I'm sure strategies vary from person to person but usually it involves creating a following a plan/schedule and allowing time for both enjoyment/hobbies and ample studying (to prevent stress from upcoming due dates)
@@SpyiTheBlazeCollege can be stressful in multiple ways. But as time passes you get used to the stress and won't feel as pressured. The comment above me gave a great guideline on how to minimize the stress.
I had a student loan for 3 years and one thing i didn't cheap out on was the food : it's too important to eat healthy ! But there were definitely some easy to make, affordable recipes that i would eat several times a month. Vegetable soup was my go to : takes 1 hour and a half to prepare, then you can eat it every evening through an entire week, adding ham, salmon, steak, whatever meat you had available on the side, with buttered toasts to top it off !
I dont think I’ve tried to stay awake this hard before. This is so informative. Thanks for such a great video! The way you instructed didn’t feel intimidating, but fun and relaxing instead.
Ever since Folding Idea’s video on cooking videos I appreciate the craft and effort behind them all the more consciously, which makes me even more appreciative of how absolutely quality you manage to make yours! Relaxing, pleasant, confident, and cleanly shot cooking experiences each time, and i thank you for sharing them with us!
I tried to watch this three times last night and kept falling asleep by the time you got to the roast potatoes 😂 So I watched it this morning to actually see the dishes - morning ASMR felt a bit odd but was worth it (most relaxing morning I’ve had in a while 😂) Thanks so much for your hard work! Please do more of this style! 👏🏻
So so so so good, man! Can't say it enought! I hate super enthusiastic cooking videos, and the work you've been doing mixing ASMR and food is outstanding. Keep up, I'm a fan! Cheers from Brazil
17:25 that is good advice in general for just about everything. Someone who has mastered something has gone from knowing how to do it, to understanding why you do it
I was watching this video and fell asleep a few nights ago when I got the news my sister had passed. We just had her funeral, so now I'm coming back to finish this video. Sort of a closure thing I think. Anyway, thank you so much for all the amazing content you make, I'm so happy to see your hard work paying off 😊
i can't thank you enough for this video. the potato and leek soup special is a godsend, and it made me subscribe. it's interesting how in-demand budget cooking (especially for college students) is at the moment. i'm sure you're making this video because several college students have requested it, but i want to let you know that this is video is incredibly important and helpful for people like me, going into their upperclasseman years looking to learn how to cook on a budget.
Thanks for the nice comment! It does seem there is interest and I know most folks are feeling what you are right now. I'm not the best at budget cooking but I have some more ideas, so maybe we'll do another before too long.
I LOVE your cooking videos!!!! I've been seeing more and more asmr videos making sandwiches and i think you would nailed on one, a little request if I may ask hahah
For whatever reason, none of your videos have been showing up in my subs! Turned notifications on for next time. Thank you for sharing with us! I man not be in college, but I’m a broke mom and always happy to try a delicious & affordable meal lol. 😅❤
I think this channel would go viral for cooking videos like this or any cooking asmr videos. I predict 1 million subscribers by end of 2025 if you dedicated all your future videos to cooking like this. ❤
You must be a wizard of some sort as you perfectly described the order in which I consume my Costco rotisserie birds. The breast is usually reserved for chicken salad. But I smell what you’re cooking and is a great idea…
Just took the trip from Boston to Athens again last night probably for the 10th time. Was about to board Monotonic Air again and saw something new! Thanks for the great stuff man.
Not going to lie when I turn into a college student I'm going to use what you're teaching me to add stuff to my cup noodles and other quick meal items like mac and cheese and pasta with red sauce of the Prego variety
This is strange sounding but when I fall asleep to your videos I have such unique dreams so I am looking forward to what astral projection dream cooking I take part in tonight 😅😴💫
@@MonotonicASMR No cooking- I was hiking and almost fell off the inexplicably grassy top of a mountain and very distinctly "knew" it was a 450 foot fall if I did- so now I'm going to puzzle all day on what that has to do with college cooking 🤣
I love everything about this, just some guy sharing his experience and knowledge of cooking. You have a great speaking voice, and kind of remind me of Steve1989. By the way, it's ok to use the word "broke." A lot of us are there. lol. Great video, I'll have to rewatch this. First to sleep, second to learn some cheap and easy recipes. Cheers P.S I gotta ask, why did you put such an emphasis on the chef's knife, then use a paring knife to not only dice an onion, but quarter breasts off a chicken? That big blade was sitting right in front of you. Or was it in tune with the video to show that you can not only use cheap ingredients but also cheap tools? Was it for the purpose of making the video longer for the sake of the ASMR aspect?
Thanks for the comment! Yes, with the paring knife it was just to look at what was possible, but certainly those tasks are much easier with a different blade.
Slight suggestion: consider turning down the low end on your microphone. I think it would make the audio a little less boomy and suit your exquisite voice well! Love your content either way 😊
😊hi m8 yay cooking again yay 🤤🤤 next time, can you do how to cook with healthy food and healthy drink? 😊please I am trying to lose weight but it’s really hard
Do you sharpen your own knives? If you do, could you show how to sharpen them correctly? If you have already done so, I will search later…for now…hopefully I fall asleep to this.
