Often I'm in a rush to get to fishing and catching fish. But on this trip I just took some time to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings before getting to the fishing. The stillness of the lake, the sounds of the birds and insects. The gorgeous light off the mountains above me and the turquoise waters below me.

Very true, sometimes we have to take a moment in order to really appreciate our surroundings and reflect upon what an amazing gift it is to enjoy our natural environment. It is in moments like this that I have found "even the rocks cry out His name" and the tremendous beauty of creation can easily take one's breath away. Thanks for sharing!
