Tuesday is officially "We miss Seonkyoung & her voice" day, since Have You Eaten? series videos are ASMR of ONLY COOKING sound! hahahahaha!! But you will see this corky crazy Asian lady every Friday so don't miss too much!! Comment if you saw Jacob is stealing the bulgogi from the pan!! My mouth is watering right now watching the bulgogi sizzling!!!! 🤤🤤🤤 Get the written recipe right here- seonkyounglongest.com/bulgogi Thanks for watching!! Love you guys~!!
I appreciate that you are trying new styles and these videos are very well done, but I'd just like to point out these videos are hard to follow as a visually impaired person. I can't read the words on the screen. I appreciate that you have the written recipes available so I can follow along with those. Thank you for all that you do.
I tried this recipe and it turns out THE BEST BULGOGI in my life. Better than any Korean restaurants in my country. I used to dislike this dish since it is too sweet out there but this recipe is very well-balanced! The sweet does not overpower! My boyfriend loved it too. Thank you Seonkyoung!
I tried this and cooked for my husb, he kept saying how delicious it is!! Omg so amazed that easy and quick recipe like this can be flavourful. Thanks so much! I wanna try the bulgogi hotpot after this!!! 🤍 from malaysia 🌸
Tip: when cutting onions leave the root, you can cut the onion in half but leave the route so that the onion will stay still and steady when you're chopping.
I hope Seonkyoung replies to your question, but a lot of Korean bulgogi recipes include grated asian pear (or just grated apple or pear, if you can't find that specific fruit). I think even Seonkyoung has used it in the past? That may work as a sub for the plum.
I was wondering the same thing. I think she suggested an alternative in a past video, but I can't remember which video or what she said, so I hope she sees this as well
I live in Manitoba, Canada. I will try to find it in Asian grocery stores near my place but I just wanted to know an alternative just in case this is too pricey or not available at all. Thank you for the suggestion about Amazon 😊
If u dont have it then you can just skip. I am Korean lol as long as you have soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and sesame seed oil you can make it still yummy.
We are Native American and my sister in law is Korean!!! We LIVE FOR Korean food and my son, LOVES LOVES bulgolgi!! One time he was so sick, he had Scarlett fever. He didn’t eat for days and when he finally had an appetite, the only thing he wanted was bulgolgi and rice. I have learned how to cook so many Korean foods because we eat so much of it. I’m going to try this recipe, thank you for sharing!! So many respect for Korean culture and people. ❤️❤️
Bulgogi is one of my favorite Korean foods or maybe my top favorite Korean food. Hehe. Once on my 23rd birthday, my father and I went to a Korean restaurant in our province where they offered unlimited Bulgogi for a reasonable price and their serving is large(I had like 4 plates). Definitely, bulgogi is heaven. 💕
I'am Native American too, i was born in New Jersey. My wife you might say she's Native Korean, born in Korea now a American. I make Bulgolgi my self but i cut the meat into small pieces.
Bulgogi and Bibimpap are my favorite things to eat in the whole wide world. I am blessed to have a close friend who is Korean who turned me on to Korean food many years ago and I love it so much. There’s a place in Los Angeles called Hodori that’s my favorite. They already know my order when I walk in nang myun, bulgogi and bibimpap.
Thank you so much for one of my favourite Korean recipes. I appreciate everything you do. This was a beautiful video and so well done. I am with a lot of the commenters, there is nothing better than Seokyoung Longest and your beautiful positive energy. I always laugh and smile with you and love to watch you enjoy food as much as I do!
End result was drool worthy, Seonkyoung! The hand slap was too cute. I love these types of videos where you just cook and you only hear cooking sounds. But I also like the ones where you talk, so it's nice to have a mix of the two. Change things up, right? :)
Wow! I love your unique and sophisticated recipe! Thanks for sharing yours! I usually make my BulGogi with a much more simple recipe! - From One Korean to Another!
I love this style of video, the sounds of the dishes, food being chopped and tossed and the noise of the distant car traffic? Please do more videos like this!!!!!
Amazing video. Miss hearing your joyful voice but I can still see your exuberant cooking style here. Also great chillhop music selection. Thanks!#firstvideocommentever
If I can get to the Asian market tomorrow I’m going to make this for supper tomorrow night. I’ll edit and let you know how I did. K35, beef bulgogi(Korean Market) was what I ate x3 a week at my old house. Gosh how I miss that place.
I’ve never been to Korea so far, but your and Maangchi‘s videos have actually made me seriously considering making a trip to Korea. Thanks for the eye opener!
Found you accidentally while searching for ideas. I have loved watching you ever since. You have gave me inspiration. I love cooking and love all your ideas. Keep up the good work. All the way from Scotland uk
Wish you'd just use generic names instead of brand names. I looked all over the place for Mirin, turned out to be nothing more than cooking rice wine. Thanks for the recipe!
Hiii love your Channel! Could you put the direct link to the written recipe in the summary box. When I click on the link to your page, I have to do a search on the food and you have several recipes for bulgogi
I know it’s a long shot for asking, but do you a dish called hoikoro? I’ve seen the Ajinomoto ads when they eat with raw egg... what are your thoughts?
Is there a substitute for Plum extract and Marin, I went to an Asian store and they didn’t know what I was talking about, so I showed them your video lol and they still couldn’t help me
This has ALWAYS been my favorite growing up. It is one of my comfort foods. I could eat it everyday! With a big bowl of Jasmine rice im in heaven. It doesn't get any better that that!
