This is an unedited track session at Jerez for everyone who requested full laps as it calms them. I concur. Bike is HP4 RACE, camera is GoPro Hero 7 in 2.7k.
Baron HP4R (1:49), Moto3 (1:45), WSSP (1:42), Moto2 (1:41), WSB (1:39), MotoGP (1:37) Apparently - 'a very good time on a 1000cc sports bike is IRO (1:55 - 2:00)' ..kind of puts things into perspective
@@malcolmlowe1935 Same - just looked up the specs - other than tyres (not sure what BVG uses) super-trick components and weight: MotoGP up to 800cc = 150 kg MotoGP 801 to 1000cc = 157 kg Moto2 + rider! = 215 kg Moto3 + rider! = 152 kg HP4R = 171.4 kg (270 kg with BVG?!) Costs: 'A complete Moto3 motorbike without an engine, switchboard, or transponders can cost a maximum of €85,000'
@@crad5476 Is there a specific noise limit? 28dB? 44dB? What if you just turn the volume of the video down? Does that qualify? What if you blast a quiet video? Does that break the rules? Where is this rule written? Is there an ASMR rulebook? ASMR police? A committee for ASMR?
@@dfw_motorrad1329 Or to make it easy and to not waste my time you can just be smart and google the definition and meaning of ASMR. There are many videos explaining it, so bye bye :)
Seeing the handlebars swerve left to right on hard acceleration makes me clench my butthole probably more then the baron did riding that beast... what power. What riding skill... respect baron, respect!
Glad to see you're using your HP4 race like it was designed to be used. They're aren't many well done track day pov videos with a well positioned camera on a good bike with a good rider and half decent sound without any crap music playing. Thanks for posting this Baron.
@@iwantpies yeah buddy. The TC is cutting fuel/timing on heavy throttle, which sounds like the bike is missing. Sort of like a turbo car without a hot enough spark. A quickshifter on the other hand sounds like a shift. Done quickly.
@@BrianFrichette well my assumption was based on the fact that most quickshifters use ignition/timing interruption (at least for upshift) You're probably right as this was occurring a lot during heavy lean and accel.
I've never been interested by ASMR so I kind of hesitated clicking on this video, but I'm so glad I did! Amazing riding, and this bike is a fucking beast. Great video overall, keep it up and ride safe!
Really impressive, and I thank you kindly for not overlaying some insufferable music or any other crufty bullshit. You're definitely one of the good ones, Chris.
I know this is a dedicated track weapon but you should take your V4S on a track day to see how much of a difference the HP4 has over the Ducati lap time wise
Beautiful rendition of a sweet 4 cyl sonata. My utmost respect for you and that girl you flogged around that track. Best part was the "FUCK" when some guy was in your apex line. Great show regardless. Godspeed
I love the sound of the HP4 race, when the throttle is cracked from mid rpm it is guttural then the traction control starts popping the the revs rise to a race engine screen only a in-line for can make. 😍
@BaronVonGrumble "Thank you baby" was the best part! :) I do not know if you are going to be at Almeria on the 6th of July but it would be great to find you there and your HP4 Race!
After watching BvG's tarmac devouring machine, I can't help but wonder if every other bike in the world seems slow in comparison after that. Great riding. More track guides= yes please.
I like to fool myself that I can remember as if it was yesterday, the time I did a tankful of laps around Donington. But in reality it was a million years and more than half a lifetime ago: 1978 to precise. The circuit wasn’t even complete. There were muddy tyre tracks across Redgate (which I brushed off on the race line with a big broom I found in the pits), and on the outside of McLean’s, the curbs hadn’t been put in yet, there was just a 12” wide and 18” deep trench!! My bike was a gorgeous candy orange, nicely tuned Honda CB250G5 with Avon Roadrunners and Girling rear shocks. We will never have those times again. Ride safe.
Chris, the 44T videos are great and I always look forward to them but man theres nothing like a good Baron video. Some of the older ones are absolute classics. Anymore of the same in the future?
I found the color commentary when a backmarker didn't yield the corner to be ESPECIALLY calming... many thanks to the Baron for doing his bit for motorcyclist mental health.
How big a problem is sidewind and gusts on a motorcycle? For me, it's really bad on bicycle. It's either the ditch or under a car unless I slow down. 15-20 m/s gusts from the side, switching side every second or two so it's also very dangerous to lean into them.
Loved that. Cannot get to grips with Jerez myself, but you clearly do. Please, please, do yourself and your subscribers a huge favour and go to Portimao - it's like flying through the clouds.....
did anybody particularly notice how you can force the revs down on deceleration with downshifts? the way the revs drop so unnaturally low without pulling the clutch, and just merely using the brakes and engine braking... got my attention quite well
What a lovely sound. I couldn't help but notice your throttle hand. It almost looks like you're working it with just a thumb and forefingers, like you're holding a giant pen.
Don't want to hold on too tight. Let the bike do the work, prevent it from getting squirrely. Guess it's his way of doing that. Lot of people put waayyy too much work into the handle bars.
