Hi Karuna, you probably won’t see this but I hope you do. I’ve been watching you since the end of 3rd grade, I’m in 7th now. Around fifth and sixth grade and struggled with a lot of mental health issues. I now currently really only struggle with social anxiety, and self image. (Please don’t read the next part if self harm related things trigger you!!) Around sixth grade, I self harmed with an sharp comb (it sounds crazy but it hurts), now, through some therapy and days of laying and listening to ASMR, I only struggle with biting my hands and scratching my arms. I would like to thank you for always being there to get people through the hard times when you were going through hard times of your own. You have probably saved many lives including my own. Love you Karuna ❤️

Hey fam! QUESTION: how did you get into ASMR? Personally, I came across a video on Facebook which was a Turkish head massage, then I decided to RU-vid some more and noticed they all had the word “ASMR” - which at the time I never heard of it! Then down the rabbit hole of YT I found a make up video by Karuna... Fast forward 3 years and here we are! 😊

Hey! I found ASMR purely by chance in early 2014. My school had just got new computers in the library, and it was completely silent when people were using them and the sound of the typing and clicking relaxed me so much that when I got home, I searched for the mechanical keyboard sound on YT. I found a video that was looped typing sounds for 10 mins and in the recommended was a mic brushing video from Ocalyma ASMR, so I clicked and I've followed the suggestions ever since 😊

I had a similar experience one year ago I was searching for videos on RU-vid for massage technics and noticed some of them said ASMR I had never heard of it before but I really liked it lol and then realized that I had experienced it ever since childhood but never understood it was a thing! I know this is an old video but I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the content you create. Something about your voice and the way you pronounce/whisper/just generally make mouth sounds, just relaxes me so much and never fails to give me tingles. I could listen to you talk like this for hours on end. I always thought that I get tingles most strongly from visual triggers (brushing etc) but your whisper/mouth sound videos just hit differently. I love that I can just put them up in the background while working and feel focused and relaxed by ASMR without having to "watch" (although it makes the tingles even stronger). This also tremendously helps when trying to fall asleep with ASMR. So anyway, thank you very much for everything

I literally listen to you every night in order to fall asleep (I have a weird body clock and find it hard to relax because of law school and because of a really bad case of anxiety). I just came out to my parents as lesbian. It was awkward as hell but I'm ok now if you r in the closet and want to come out just do it because it feels really good to get that out to the people you love ( do be careful if it will make an unsafe situation) love you family and mom
